BETonSPORTS management encourages employees to take few days off

New clerks training sessions continue as if nothing happened at BETonSPORTS. Over 50 new trainees attended their scheduled training sessions Monday. U.S. facing sports betting industry usually hire new clerks in August to cater the higher business volumes football season brings. Operations traditionally begin downsizing after Super Bowl to approach slow baseball season with a lower overhead.

While new clerks train existing employees are being encouraged to take a few days off, confirming that the long awaited re-opening for business is not foreseen anytime before the next TRO hearing, scheduled for August 14.
Employees’ bones chilled Monday when rumors according to which BoS operations manager Dalton Wagner had told employees to start looking for a job started circulating within the company. Rumors were later discarded by a note Wagner sent to employees. Wagner stated that he didn't mean to prepare employees for the worst; he explained he simply suggested employees to seek a plan B in case individuals felt too uncomfortable with the current situation.
"While I remain positive about the outcome of the current situation, I think it would be prudent to have a backup option in case this turns negative." Wagner concluded in his clarification of his wrongly perceived suggestions.
Meanwhile non-executive director Clive Parritt, not to be confused with actor Clive Parritt who recently starred as Davey on "The Adventures of Robin Hood", and BoS Board of Directors reportedly continue to evaluate options in conjunction with their U.S. legal team. Parritt has unofficially taken the burden of "running the show" since David Carruthers dismissal.
All existing BoS management remains in place, unlike early speculations reported, with the sole exception of Carruthers who is waiting to be released on a $1,000,000 bail bond. “We have to get the bail money together before they will let him out,” Carruthers' lawyer Tim Evans told The Times Monday. “We also have to find a suitable place for him to live. Neither of those things has been done yet.”
TheOnlineWire.com opened a BETonSPORTS Hotline Saturday. Over 100 players have contacted us seeking information and updates or simply sharing their frustration. BoS customers wishing to contact the BETonSPORTS Hotline may do so by clicking here

This article is from TOW, so just take it with a grain of salt as Roberto has not been right about anything since he correctly predicted the sun would come up on January 3rd, 2005.

Good Point....

There has been so much information(rumors) out there with TOW and BOS, its difficult to believe anything thats really out there. The only thing players out there can really do is wait till AUg 14th. Hopefully, for not another delay or extension. All this really does make players sick as there is no accurate information out there....

Ace,

Not sure what you are alluding to. If you mean the article about the deal with the DoJ, then you may wish to confirm with Wil. I took the liberty to show the transcripts of the conversation I had with the "source" that induced me to write that piece. The "source" had been reliable until that point and I believe he didn't lie. FWIW the "source" is high up the food chain at BoS.

Reporting on this developing story is particularly challenging because of the lack of desire of BoS official sources to comment on anything.

I agree with you to take all information out there with a grain of salt, however unconfirmed information is better than no information at all or conflicting information BoS clerks are giving out.

BTW, I last predicted yesteday's thunderstom..and it rained like hell down here.:103631605

Have a great day.

Roberto,
There could be a bright future for you in Buffalo meteorology!

These guys have given up trying -- "today - chance of rain, snow, or nice weather. temperatures between 50 and 80 something. probably."

Thanks for the updates. Until we hear of foreclosure signs there's still hope, I guess.

I just called millennium for the first time this week and expressed my desperate concern for my funds and she went on to say "A lot of what are on the message boards are false and that if we were closing down then all these people would not be working around me".This whole thing is disgusting.I dont know why I call there. It only makes me feel worse.
