Anyone ever run into the new neteller rule of x-fering more than 10,000 in 30 days? Apparently they now require a DNA sample and your 3rd cousin's name to proceed.

They are now requiring photo id, bank statement and some other form BEFORE they process the sum total of any x-actions exceeding 10,000 in a thirty day period. I've been with them for years and never had any issue before.

neteller has always had limits on deposits in a 30 day period since i can remember...and have required certification requirements for raising those limits.

I know they require you to fill out the approval form to up your InstaCash level to $10,000 but am unaware of any 30 day limit for all transactions not to exceed $10,000.

Look - you can thank all of our friends that have tried to fuck over neteller for these rules. It is netellers only recourse against fraud. When you idiots on here encourage another moron to default on his neteller instacash by saying "they cant do anything about it" - what do you think eventually happens? Tighter rules and more fees and less benefit to legitimate consumers.

So the next time some fucktard says "i did a 5k instacash and dont have it in my bank account..... what can they do?" - think about your reply before you complain about netellers rules and requirements for documentation.

These were deposits to neteller via EFT(4-5 day wait)...not insta-cash. And many times before I had exceeded these limits over a thirty day period.

There's always next year, like in 75, 90-93, 99 &

People can still dispute electronic checks after they are cashed. I found this out the hard way when I sold some items on ebay and had someone say the check was fraudulent 2 weeks later. They still took it out of my account. I had no idea this was possible.

The easiest and most convenient way to use neteller for significant money is bank wires. Either go to the bank and send the wire (Neteller will have it available before you get home) or find a bank that will process wires by fax or over the phone. Both exist. Never again will you have a problem.

Just got off the phone with them and the 10,000 30 day running total rule applies ONLY to EFT deposits...i.e. going from your bank account into neteller via EFT. Once you send the required documents (copy of license, bank statement) there is no limit after that.

Apparently it's a security issue as people have figured out a way to beat them in the past.

Interesting, i didn't think you could have anything go wrong on a regular EFT. Those come out of your bank account before they show up at Neteller..

You've done more than, or up to 10,000 in EFT this past month, so something was triggered?

What happened in your case Matt?

Neteller locked my account. i call ed them and asked why and they said "because you have done a lot of peer to peer transfers"

WTF? They offer the service and charge heavily for it.

So how did you, or did you get your account reactivated?
