Det has opened as a +118 at Chicago...Vegas must think Verlander's skipped start was meaningful (i.e., Liriano)...it will be interesting to see how he looks in his first start after his "arm fatigue"...I think that if Alex Cintron or Brian Anderson gets a hit off of him, you can be sure that he will never be the same for the rest of the year.
Fla +100. I thought this would open around Fla +124, but I still like the Marlins at +100...Johnson's last start was terrible...but it was mostly due to SHITTY umping. Look for him to bounce back...it seems Vegas feels this way as well.
Min +100. Garza will make his first start. I would have this as a pick em...but the way the B-Jays have been playing, it might be worth it to back him in this as a +100 play. Burnett has not pitched well enough to be a favorite in this one.
