Can we SERIOUSLY talk about the INSURANCE for BOS? If anything, an apology.......

Sure the players are responsible for where they deposit their money. But when can these sites begin to take partial responsiblity???

I mean, they were PLATINUM here, touted like a MOFO by the mods and owner. Isn't that cause for a little responsibilty. To tell you the truth, if it wasn't for the 10K insurance that was offered, and my personal email from MartyJ himself, assuring me my funds were safe, I'd have never played there.

I had a gut feeling to stop playing with them, but I though, no way can they tank, they are HUGE, and foots is right around the corner. I couldn't be so wrong.

so here I sit, out a shit load of cash. Sure, I blame myself, I should have known not to trust these sites, or anyone other than myself. But when the owner comes out and makes a statement, that each BoS account is insured up to 10K i figured, why not?

Anyways, Im sure this email will get the same responses from Wil and other mod's. Telling me to be patient, and quit jumping to conclusions, dont believe everything you read on the net.........GUESS WHAT??? My patience is gone, and I belive what I am reading now.

These fuckers are jumping ship, with our cash, and no plan of repaying, why??? Because they are broke, the signs were there when the 50% bonuses were flying around. And yup, dumbass me fell for it.

Anyways, it would be nice to hear something other than just wait till monday. It was announced today, they are closing shop, and no matter what they say.......they are not paying.

Im sure there are a ton of posters who lost money with them. There is no way to even prove how much you had in your account. I don't want to jump to conclusions but im sure there is going to be some way out of it for therx. There is no way they are going to pay all the money lost from bos especially if they where the biggest advertiser on the site. They would be better off closing the site

BB...First let me say that I have some Money in Bos and V-Wager. There is NO way that you will see anyone payout insurance till they are sure BoS is dead. If I owned this Buisness, I sure would not be sending Money to people I did not know until,I was Dam sure that there would be no monies sent back to U.S players. Do I expect to see any NO. But it would be poor buisness in my opinion to start paying out at this time. I have invested Monies in start ups that have gone bankrupt, and got some of my monies back after courts did what they had to do. It was not months it was years, and I feel that this will be atleast 6 to 12 months before we really have a clear picture to what is going on.

I hope we see some Monies in the Future, But it will be a long wait.

You know, I agree fighclub. Then why not help with a bailout??

Us players need to stand up and boycott these sites that promote shit books like BoS, and now SBG, I mean, WTF???

Sure they need to pay their bills, but a site consistently advertising crooks should not get paid back with loyal customers.

I like a lot of the posters here, and I know if I quit posting the RX would go on, but if some posters would stick together, we could help save a few, and hopefully cripple shit books like BoS, BetUS, and SGB.

True enough, G. I'm not expecting payment from the RX today, or months from now. A fucking CLEAR CUT statement if they will honor their 10K insuruance in the future if BoS does not pay is all I am asking for.

They overplay the adveritising costs to run this site and forum. I was a mod on a huge board like this for baseball with similar size and membership. The price was 200 to get the board licensced, and around 150-200 combined for the website and forum in terms of monthly payments for bandwidth. They make it sound like it cost thousands to run the forum.

BB--I know patience can way thin at a time like this, but believe that is the best option we all can put forth right now. Some days are going to give us hope on BOS and other days it will seem their is no chance for any of us to receive our funds..........understand your disgust with the situation(who isn't), but lets be patient for the present and see what develops. The sad aspect of all this is that we are probably in the very early stages of this entire situation, even though it seems like an eternity.

theres obviously going to be some heated exchanges between posters once everyone is online and responding to these bos threads. im with you big bet as i had an account with millenium. i guess i was holding out hope from the beginning that we players would get our deposits back at least. it just sucks that football is upon us and all the hard work is going to be wasted. just been sick to my stomach that my football season is over before it started!!!

I hear ya Jake, my football season isnt over, but it sure has a HUGE DENT in it.

Starting in the negative before you place your first bet is piss poor.

My problem is, I think one big bet will cure all, I have steered clear from that option, so far.

I'd a rather lost the money on a last second FG, or a fumble recovery with no time on the clock, than have it stolen.

Fish that's bogus. BOS has no intention on paying the players back. I understand that this puts all you mods in a tough spot. TheRX was the one that was so certain that BOS was on the up an up that he came out with that promise. He took the ad money from them in order to give them a good standing. You and others psting that they were on the up and up. Atleast you could come clean and say you were dead wrong and you are sorry to steer posters to that shit book. I would say at the very least you owe the posters that. Amazing how you would always say you never have a problem with them. You are a mod at a watchdog site go figure.
A watchdog site that takes koney from shit books that cheat people out of money. It was well known they cheated people in the past for loads of money and yet TheRX threw out that insurance. Now lets see how this plays out.

i hear ya big bet. i just hope instead of people coming on here arguing that they just let us vent and get on with it. there are alot of peoples opinion i value on here and i hope these threads dont turn into shouting matches. NOBODY likes their money stolen no matter how its stolen. the only thing that is really going to make me feel better is 5 mins with the bos board of directors and this guy dalton!!!!

Since the odds of BOS paying players is going downhill rapidly (I say less than 5% but time will tell.) - At the very least, how about getting a list of players together who lost money through theRX at BOS and once this list is obtained, put that amount in escrow for distribution in say a year if BOS does not pay.

Otherwise, simply say the guarantee will not be honored.

I really don't care, but it is poor business to offer a guarantee and then when a book stiffs players (Yes, not being paid for a month is a stiff) doing and saying nothing is poor business.

Disagree. Legit companies usually only deal with other companies who have had a solid record to protect there reputation. Like I said, your connected with the people who you do business with, and it reflects poorly on you when stuff like this happens. The legit companies choose very carefully who to align with.
