Detroit is on a 4-game skid so why am I taking them here? The Tigers are 17-6 when Rogers starts and are 28-10 against left-handed pitching.

Very misleading stat, as they score over a run and a half more per game against righties.

Thanks for the feedback Smartass. I'm seeing at jimfeist.com that they score 4.44 runs against lefties and 5.44 runs against righties. If they are 28-10 against lefties and they score 1 run less than against righties they must be keeping other teams from scoring when facing lefties. Perhaps it's a managerial decision that seems to be working.

A throwing error causes 3 unearned runs to score for Chicago to help them to a 4-3 win. That kind of stuff happens I guess. Both pitchers did rather well.
