(Each day, we spotlight one of tomorrow's scheduled starting pitchers owned in 50 percent or fewer of ESPN.com fantasy leagues who warrants consideration.)
• Saturday: Jeff Weaver, Cardinals (at Pirates, 4.1 percent owned): He hasn't been close to a trustworthy fantasy option all year, but Weaver is coming off his most encouraging start yet for the Cardinals, a six-inning, one-run victory in Cincinnati last Monday. Plus, don't overlook the opponent; the Pirates are a light-hitting team, and he's 4-0 with a 2.08 ERA and .218 batting average allowed in five career starts against them.
GAMES I'M WATCHING: Weekend
(Each day, Tristan shares the game he plans to watch from the cozy seat on his couch. Sorry, the hot dogs, peanuts and Cracker Jack aren't included.)
• Saturday: Tigers at White Sox, 1:20 p.m. ET: This weekend's Detroit-Chicago series is full of great storylines, and in this one, it's a battle of struggling left-handers, as Kenny Rogers takes on Mark Buehrle. The two are a combined 1-8 with a 9.00 ERA and .325 BAA in 13 starts since July 1, and while these aren't great matchups for either to rebound, a nice outing could offer encouragement looking forward.
