Need (1) more book of these four. Really trying to avoid Costa Rican books at all costs.

** I bet straight only. Like to buy the hooks for low prices on FB. Like futures bets for NFL. Like to bet on Sunday night or Monday morning for the following weeks games. WHO DO I CHOOSE? Thanks in advance for your help.

I would stay away from bet365 ... if you win they drastically limit your stake on any bet. I've used Canbet before (2-3 years ago) and don't remember being able to buy any points.

Mansion fits your style best. IMO . No buying hooks, though.

Ace-Dont take this the wrong way.

All of these sportsbooks and many more have been discussed in great detail over the last 2 years. You would get better information by searching for these sportsbooks using the "search" function at the top. There are many times posters who will not reply because they know it has been discussed before.

Good luck!

Thanks SCnit...didnt even notice.

I didnt think you did. Very valuable tool that I believe most posters dont use.

Another great tool is the "new post" function. This might be used even less then search.

Ace,

First off, I think you are making a mistake assuming that the country where a sportsbook operates has anything to do with its stability. Remember, BOS is a UK based company that was operating in Costa Rica. Also, a couple of the worse stiff jobs came from books operating in Curacao (Sportsmarket) and Antigua (Aladdin’s Gold).

For me the best indicators for a book are things like longevity and reputation, both public and industry. From your list Skybook would be my first choice. They open up early and offer the features that you are looking for. They also offer free half-points (see their site for details). Skybook has also been around for a long time, and I have never heard of a payout complaint about them.

That’s not say that the other 3 are not solid books, as I feel all 4 are quality outs.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Rick

Best way to use search for your interest...

Go to Search
" " Advanced Search
Type in sportsbook (Mansion, Bet365, etc) in topic line on left
Use drop down for in title of thread, not post

I think Skybook is one of the last books to post their lines. They have to because of the free half point offer. I might just be thinking about college baskets but I think it was the case for football too. Solid out though.

two years plus running, no name change. Great out for early and big player. Well backed by a billionaire Asian owner. Exchange is not hard to adapt to. As good as any other out, IMO. Right up there with Pinny,Cris, etc. Some glitches, but nothing too serious. You'd find some complaints about any book, if you look.

I use Pinnacle, Olympic, 10bet, Pointbet (soccer mostly but NFL sides/totals) ... also have accounts at betjamaica and 5dimes which I don't use much

Thanks Rick. Just based that off of the article another poster posted about the offshore books and the current BoS situation.
