Since there will be a boatload of RXers in Vegas this week I thought it would be nice if we all listed our favorite restaurants so people would know good places to visit.

I'll start:

Lotus of Siam

http://www.saipinchutima.com/

Lotus of Siam was rated "the best Thai restaurant in North America" by Jonathan Gold of Gourmet Magazine. This restaurant is not open for lunch on Saturdays or Sundays

Very reasonable prices.

I like the Palms at the forum shops, but there are tons of great eateries all over town. The hash house off the strip is a fun spot with great creative grub.

Want a place that few know about, does not advertise and where the local sharps hang out? Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens. Very cool.

If you want high end ...Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio.

Top shelf but a bit more reasonable...Delmonico's at the Venetian

Any questions, let me know...I have been to all the top restaurants in vegas at least twice...:103631605

How is the Carnegie Deli? Does anyone know if it compares to the original?

I am not a sharp but I love Hugos Cellar. I was getting ready to post that would be my choice if I could only go to one place.

I have not been to the original but I love this place. I posted about this place in an earlier thread bc it is right across from IP. I posted a link in the Ask Green Doberman thread.

Carnegie is at the Mirage and known for it's corned beef. Reasonably priced but wouldn't name it as a top choice dinner spot. Not sure about the original.

Depends upon what price one is talking about. Red Square at Mandalay Bay is nice ! Michaels is of course my all time favorite at the Barbary Coast but very $$$$$ ! Tillerman's on Flamingo is awesome also but you will need a Cab ride but not too far away ! Gourmet Chinese food is Amlee's where I took Redeye and Woof ... Just ask them ... It's awesome food but not cheap.

Solid list by WC Bias.

Can't really name an all-time favorite, just depends on the mood.

If I had to say one, it would be the Crown and Anchor. Not so much for the food (although it is very good), but for the beer and atmosphere.
