I c a lot of peeps trashing the place and the thing is i love it. Their Taco section is great....sometimes have Fajitas and are real good as well. Prime rib is good along with the usual shrimp and pasta. I have eatin at most of the high end buffets and have to tell ya they arent worth it. The Rio has a nice Sea food Buffet, but the time I went the wait was the better part of an hour and it just was not ALL that for me. My favorite buffet for breakfast is the Mirage by far.......normally I dont do buffets with the wife....she doesnt get her moneys worth and plus we like steak and/or more of a party atmosphere when we eat.

BEST place bar none for me is MARGARITAVILLE (cant spell for shit, I think thats right) The atmosphere is great and the drinks....ooooooo my:toast:

this will be my 4th stay at IP and I have to tell it has really gone down hill in regards to gambling. They used to be my favorite place...tons of tables and double deck 3to2 BJ and I just went there in June and walked in and didnt play a hand. Everything is Champaigne pit or dealertainers.......a lot of 6 to 5 BJ BS......I have never had a problem with their rooms.....havent stayed there in a while, but should be fun regardless.

The table games rules have changed since Harrah's took over. I will not comment on whether that is good or bad, but I think you can figure it out.

There are still a few decent double deck and shoe games that pay 3-2 in the IP, though. You will have to search them out.

Mr. NBA,
I certainly could be wrong on that, like I said I'm pretty out of the table games loop.

Aren't you from Va. Beach?

I thought the buffet was decent... but holy crap did a buddy of mine get sick from it. Don't know what the hell he ate off of it, but he ran quickly to the bathroom while we were playing black jack downstairs. I had to watch his chips for 20 minutes, then he came out looking all pale :realtongu and just said "Dude, i'm going to the room. I sharted." My boy had to leave his undies in the stall.

So becuase of this, i'm never ever eating that buffet. He was down for the count for a full day.

The IP food sucks. MR NBA, you must have thought the old Silver Slipper buffet was good because when they did the ad on TV they showed the chef awards. I ate there because I had no money. The Slipper charged $2.99. Are most of the buffets in "The New Vegas" overpriced. Yes, but at least I can identify what I'm putting on my plate.

Why do posters feel the need to bash The IP's food? Food is preference. Let others try it before you dog them. After all, we are all staying there and will be eating there I am sure.

There is a food court in O'Shea's with a Burger King and Subway among others. Past Harrah's is a McDonald's/Chipotle/Panda Express. Across the street at Caesar's is a food court as well.

The beauty of having the Bash in the center of the Strip is that there are numerous dining options within a short walk.

I dont recall how far away IP is from 'Batista' (I am sure its just a few blocks)

Excellent italian food , excellent value

Across from Balley's and behind Barbary Coast

I am sure GD or others know where it is

Batistas yuck

Batista's is brutally overpriced for bland food.. $25 for a plate of fettucini alfredo that tastes like plain cooked noodles.. Blah! :pucking:

I couldn't agree more. Batista's Hole in the Wall is merely a gimmick with very ordinary Italian food. Might as well go to The Olive Garden and get the same slop.
