Any thoughts on Abraham-Miranda? The price on Abraham seems suspiciously low. I only play at CRIS and Pinny and thus can't parlay boxing, but if I could, this would certainly be a key fight.

Will also be looking to see what the round prop is like on Mitchell-Williams...

You need a 5dimes account...seriously

They allow boxing parlays and offer lines and props on fights that other books don't cover

I played Abraham -250 a while back thinking the exact same thing, but I'm not so sure now. These guys have been talking shit back and forth for the last few weeks, both claiming to have the biggest punch, and both claiming to prove it next week. Miranda recently gauranteed a KO and given the location of the fight it makes sence, he probably won't get a decision win in Germany.

So now I'm a little worried about the Abraham bet b/c Miranda will definitly make this a brawl. Both of these guys were hurt by Eastman, and both of these guys have more power than Eastman. So its hard to see this one going the distance.

I still haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning toward staying with Abraham -250 and taking the Under 11.5 -140 as a hedge/middle.

I'll post my final thoughts and plays next week

I took the other side of the Williams/Mitchell fight. Took Mitchell for a regular piece at +360. I think it offers WAY too much value. Perhaps I'm seeing things totally wrong on this one. Only concern is how Sharmba handles a southpaw. Hasn't done it in a LONG time. Never really impressed with Williams. Not sure about the round prop.

Williams is not just a southpaw, he's a 6'2" southpaw with 79" reach

Mitchell is 5'7" with 72" reach, recently stepping up from 140 at 35 years old.

Williams is younger, fresher, bigger, stronger, longer, taller...he's also very well conditioned and has a solid chin, not that he'll need it in this fight. Mitchell didn't have any power at 140 and Williams is very big at 147, sometimes fights at 154. Mitchell was stopped by Tzsyu and Mayweather, I expect him to be stopped here also. He'll have to use alot of energy and eat some serious leather to get inside the 7" height and reach advantage, Williams has good hand speed and plenty of power to hurt Mitchell coming in. I don't think the old and fading warrior has any chance of winning this fight.

Just my opinion though

Thinking about betting on the Under maybe.

Cancelled HBO after the Sopranos so does anyone know where I can get live round by round updates?

HOW CONFIDENT ARE YOU WILLIAMS SMOKES THIS GUY? NEVER HEARD OF EITHER ONE OF EM.

Thanks.

Pretty confident...but I would parlay him with Kessler or Mayweather to get better odds if you can

I played Williams to win by KO, THO or DQ. I think Mitchell is just too shop worn to cause any potential threat to Williams but Williams does have defensive flaws that could be exposed by some boxers, just not Mitchell. Good luck tonight Gents

Might also get a little bit of Williams to win by decision in case Mitchell holds on and if he does it will be by a thread.

Headed over to a buddies house to catch that fight on HBO plus some preaseason foots before that and a bunch of beer too.

Ended up taking Punisher Williams to win $500, but had to lay -420 per in doing so.

Let the sweat begin.

Had to put a small wager on Mitchell to win by KO. He can possibly get inside and get lucky. Still big on Williams by TKO, Ko and DQ. Did I hear them right saying Williams would move up to fight Calzaghe??? :puppy:

Couldn't have been more wrong here. I figured Mitchell's speed, experience and defense could neutralize a flawed Williams. Live and learn...
