As brutal a season as it has been for the braves it's just amazing they even have a chance, if they stay hot they could easily go in with little or no pressure unlike past seasons.

If they win the Wild Card I will run around my block naked. I put 2 bills on them to win the Wild Card at +3386!

Those odds are probably about right though. A lot of teams ahead of them and after Smoltz and Hudson, that rotation is a disaster. The loss of Ramirez hurts. They will have to pound other teams with the bats.

Burning the midnight oil over there, eh?

Betimit looks like a solid hitter from the left side. He is considerably weaker from the right side. Hopefully that will improve over time. Some people say he will be a supestar. Not sure I would go that far, but he probably will be a solid every day third baseman.

Trading Betemit was a huge mistake. This guy is an all around solid player.

Just my opinion here but i would be very careful putting money on the braves as this is the kind of team that will cost you your bankroll.they are a shell of a team they use to be and just when you think they should win the easy one,they will break your heart.imo they do not have the players that will make a long run.just my opinion but this is the classic team that will tease you and cost you your money.imo fade the rest of the year.......ck

The problem is they don't know how to be consistent....they looked great last night, now playing like a bunch of dopes...no consistency to speak of...

Pedro Astacio might as well be Pedro Martinez the way he's shuting down the loser Braves.
