Well looks like the days of Gambling offshore are comming to am end for me guys. I made a promise to the wife that if she agreed to expand the vending business that I would stop with the offshore gambling (poker home games do not count, or our monthly horsetrack outing) LOL. It's a real easy choice for me.

What would be your choice?

It's time to go for it. Sometimes you get stuck in a rut and need to find something else to do with your time and energy. I promised her I would give my all with this.

Done the Vending thing and gambling is a whole lot less work that is for sure. Still have 180 machines and now have someone to run the route so it is not as much work as it was when I was doing it myself. Not sure of your market but with the price of gas and the schools changing the rules gambling sure seems more profitable at times. Good luck on your expanded venture. A business is a much better plan than gambling for a living. Would not recommend gambling over a paycheck to anyone. But gambling and a nice paycheck is always fun too.:money:

I wouldn't recommend gambling for a living if you are not already making money doing it...but I sure wouldn't recommend the vending machine route either.

Iceman the machine I have in my wife's office is doing better than expected. 12 more people will be in that office in about a week. I am expanding into a non auto related business and in Michigan that's a good thing. Coffe, pop, 40 snack and a frozen food loacation in next on my agenda. I will close on that by the end of next week.

I never worry about time out of my life. This is my hobby for now. I still will have my day job for now.

NHOJ not sure I want to get that big. How the hell do you manage that. What type of machines.

Thaks for the best wish's guys. I just don't see it not working out. I'm not putting out all that much money to start this.

Hell I'm 0 for the last 12 baseball plays. LOL I need another hobby.

Considering the political climate of offshore IMO you're making the right choice.

Tough to argue in favor of a life of gambling over owning your own business. Especially when commitments have already been made to the wife. Sounds like you have made the right choice.

That said, I'd lay 2-1 that you are back within 12 months! Tough to be out of action!

Good luck in any case.

You'd have to shoot me and then shoot me again to get me to give up profitable gambling to sell candy.
