Team USA begins it's quest to win the FIBA World Championship tonight at 1:00 a.m. EDT against Puerto Rico televised live on ESPN2.

Believe the line opened up at -33 and has been bet down to -29. Puerto Rico upset Team USA in the first round of the 2004 Summer Olympics.

A total of 4 games are slated for tonight with 8 more scheduled for tomorrow. Can the Team USA win the championship and regain basketball prominence?

They will romp by 30+ tonight... I think they will win the gold but will have at least one game decided by less than 4 points... But by the 2008 Olympics I expect this team to be a machine and breeze to the gold medal as they did in the 90's...
