What exactly is a rolling wager? I assume it is similar to an if bet. Does anyone play these?

I just noticed that BetJam has this as a betting option.

Thanks, OMM

Yes, I believe it is an if bet.

It must be a slight variation because BetJam also offers if bets.

Does it have something to do with the fact that the 2nd part of the bet can be placed after the first part of the bet has started?

For example: Nebraska -20 has already been bet.

After kickoff you can place a rolling wager if bet which only happens if Nebraska covers the 20?

I've used it at BetJamaica. You can add an if bet to a wager that's already in progress. It will be particularly useful during football season if all your funds are on pending wagers that are winners (like an over) but they haven't been graded yet or are not final and a late game is approaching kickoff.

Wondered why this wasn't an option years ago......they have your wager recorded, simply a matter of attaching a clause on the first wager to move to a second wager when done.

It can be complicated with parlays so most books just didn't offer it. Pinny was the leader and got lazy with the hand written tickets. There were many errors and a free shot here and there if they misgraded in your way. It appears Bet Jam has the software now. If you cant get if online a call will get it.

Many have had this before. I know Carib, Heritage and Cris had it for a long time. Like you said its not that hard to do that especially the software. I love how BetJam has their software set up by having the amount you can risk for the if-win and the if-tie.
