Hello Everyone,

I have been playing at Mansion for a couple months now and would like to know how other players have experienced them.

One of the biggest reasons I chose to try Mansion was no Neteller fees, especially on withdrawals.
I have taken 6 payouts over $1k and each was there in an hour or less.I use Neteller by the way, and there are no fees to deposit or WITHDRAW!
I compared that to Matchbook where I took a 3% hit on my deposit which I never did gain back in their commission credit plan.
Also it seems that Mansion has more dollars offered where I have seen usual $1k offerings only at Matchbook. Is this what others have experienced too?

Finding a number you like is pretty simple. If it isn't posted, I post my own!The commission is small(compared to Matchbook, for example, again)so that it doesn't greatly influence the bet.In fact yesterday I had NYY at +101 when it was -104 or more at Pinnacle and most others. A Huge difference to me!

Great numbers, fast payouts that actually happen fast, and low commissions.Am I missing something here?
I would be very interested in others comments as I haven't found anything negative in my experience or by searching the forum.

Thanks In Advance...

So besides the fact Mansion makes no money doing this, what is the new poster missing?? Or is it more like not asking. Like, how does Mansion do this all without charging the fees the other books he has shopped or plays at do? How come a new player like him is getting these great numbers? He read somewhere or believes its that harder to get value like that, not easier.

I will say this again. Your an embarresment to the insitution Mansion. Get some pride in what you do out there or something. You know what I am talking about.

Thanks Sugarbear for the comments.

I'm paying commission on these numbers at 1% vs 2% at matchbook, if I recall.Even with commission included it's a great deal I think.

If thousands of bets are all doing the same, Mansion would certainly have revenue.Who knows if they make profit.
Do they publish their financial statements somewhere? All I have read is that they have support of a billionaire in the east.

I am not sure if they have financials or not. I would like to see them.

How much money do they make from poker and their casino?

It makes no difference what it makes if you keep losing it out the back door to yourself. Eventually it will be gone. Compulsive gamblers always chase.

How much do they spend on advertising a year? How overlevraged are they? Very. Do you honestly think this is the only exchange this guy owns? Something beyond the ordinary keeps letting pure D squares catch incredible value. And I will mention I have seen several post by true pro's saying the same thing. People are getting what they want at will. They cant help but gush. We have a true newbie who knows nothing wondering if there is something wrong. He cant figure out why they are not doing what every one else is doing. It doesn't add up to him. It doesn't add up to me either and I know what I am doing.

Sounds like SB is unhappy with the competition or something ;-)

Mansion sponsor an English Premier League soccer team. They're marketing aggressively to gain market share from Betfair. I doubt they're going anywhere.

No not unhappy. Dissapointed is more like it. They can be around as long as they like. They are still an embaressment to the institution. I am all for the player winning or at least for those who can, but this is ridiculous with them. Remember its an operations thing to me more than anything else.
My mind foucuses on back of the house stuff and someone does not know how to book or make numbers/offers. You can add it appears there markets are still seeded by the book after two years now. What the hell is that? Come on. This is obvious stuff to me. Simple at that.

That and the guy is dealing weak numbers out the backdoor to himself. Always a recipie for disaster in the long run. I dont care how long it takes or how deep someones pockets are to do it. I hope this guys arms are just as long in the end because he will need them to be, if not already.

I can't find any financial information on Mansion anywhere?Do you have some other knowledge about their leverage you can share with us please, Sugarbear?

It seems to me, and correct me if I'm wrong, that Mansion is providing a facility(the exchange) for "squares" to trade their numbers with each other and Mansion takes a piece of that. How is that a poor business model?

If you're referring to me, the name refers to being new to posting on the forum.I have extensive gambling experience and have lurked here on the forum and rx for years.

The questions I am asking are because I have never seen such a sweet combination in a book.Great numbers, nearly instant payouts, good website interface, and good customer service in one package is hard to come by.I haven't seen it before and only want to know if others have the same experience.I can't find anything negative on any forums (that is substantiated or at least isn't speculation) but I am open minded to search for the negativity to include in my judgement. Not many books have such a clean record so they get an A+ from me, so far.

Thanks for the Input, everyone!

Its not a secret that they have a ton of advertising money out there and are certainly working from behind right now. Its a part of there plans to do so. They are also extended in other places. Again by plan. They think they will make it back down the line. The buisness plan I saw was a 10 year one also. I am not with the pay for a loser now, so I can have them later program. It dont work unless you can book (they apperantly can't) and control operational expenses. Which they don't. There managment team has a prior history in the industry which matches this behavior exactly. Beyond that there are no finacials I can find but its agreed by
true pros there is no way they are making a profit.

The negative stuff sits on another fourm and covers 2+ years of comments on them from a deeper perspective.

There is one in here that I bumped around the 15-17th of May you can go read in here. It starts in 04 but I can assure you this, Sky Masterson, ACW and Patrick McIrish are all the comments you will need to read. To the best of my knowledge no ones opinion has changed.

In fact they should have long grown out of the first stage of development, which is clearly not the case. Its an involved thread with a few true heavyweights contributing.

I was also talking about New Guy 1 whom thinks he's missing something.
