If you ever listen to anything on this forum listen to me when I tell you to stay away from touts. Plenty of great cappers here on the Rx.

I heard John Anthony likes New York in The Big XXXX. Brandon Lang as well.

Fuck, why is that movie still in my head?

Brandon was on a radio program here in Philly a couple of weeks ago. Sounded legit but their are so many scammers out there.

Although my mind has been tainted by that awful movie last night, wasn't Brandon Lang the name of the lead character? Anyone using that name should be ashamed of themselves.

BTW DBeck, don't listen to that horseshit Lenny Stevens show on WIP. At least I'm assuming that's the show you heard. For that matter, don't listen to WIP period. That station has been garbage for well over a decade now.

He was on Movie Night For Men the thursday of the Browns-Eagles game. WFAN is a better station but I listen to Ray Didinger saturdays until 3 PM religously.

So the logical conclusion is that he took his name from the main character in a movie? Ok...

Edit to add that I know, I just want him to rethink his statement.

The movie was based on a true story and he does have a website.

OK, Mr. J. I'm thinking and re-thinking. Seems too coincidental. That's what I'm saying. Given that it seems like a silly choice.

How would you like me to think?

Just that maybe the movie was based on him instead of the other way around, but touts will do just about anything won't they...

If a tout is any good he doesn't need your money, he's got enough of his own by betting his own picks.

I heard they are considering a new movie about the life of Brian Mac.The tentative title "The Life of an Honest Tout". Wayne Root and Jim Feist have auditioned for the lead role.

Like someone else said, they can make more money. Some touts are genuine and are just handicappers that market themselves aggressively. Obviously most are scumbags or guys who are so wrapped in their BS that they don't realise that they're losing.

i didn't think he was on the radio any more?

he has one of the best scams i have seen. he always has:

2-20*
3-10*

that way if he is 2-3 but wins both 20* he says he won.

if he is 3-2 and looses both 20* he says he was 3-2 (people think he won).

if he splits the 20* and is 1-2 on 10*he says he had a slight losing day, but one of the plays should have covered.

most days he can give the impression on his comp line that he won.
