They go down here and it's looking like a WC or nothing and probably the latter.

Shhhhh. The way these games have been going it wont end until 2AM. BTW, they have a better shot getting the AL East rather than the WC.

I think ESPN, FOX and MLB do NOT want a Yanks sweep. They basically dont have a story line and ratings will go down unless they focus on the Tigers and White Sox (which they should have been doing anyway).

I dont think Lopez would have made that hit. Did you see on ESPN how long between pitches he was taking to get set for Bekett yesterday?

As a Sox fan by default(Yankee hater), this is nice to see for a change.

Can't remember how long it's been since a relief pitcher recorded a real save; looks like Papelbon might get one. One more out.

If they show a closeup of Papelbon's game face one more time (as he blows the save) I'll vomit. They must have shown 20 closeups of him scowling before the pitch.:pucking: God, this shit is weak. Is this the best we can come up with for entertainment?

Sweating the over there. Phew.

But I want the Sox to win--Papi, Manny, and Youk in the ninth.

I finally agree with you on something.

BTW...no more scowling closeups of Papelbon after he puked it up. God, they try to hype this shit to the hilt, so we'll all keep paying $400 to be behind homeplate (Tropicana Field prices).

It looks like that's favorite to happen. I can't believe they don't pinch run for Ortiz here.
