I am speechless. I was so looking forward to this series. As a Red Sox diehard--this just plain sucks as a life-long Yankee hater this HURTS. I will not say 1 bad thing about the Yanks--in fact I probably hate their players less and am probably now a Yankee FAN hater.
Funny how I started hoping for a Division Title and now faced with the reality that unless a Central team folds Sox are in DEEP trouble.
The baseball Gods were not against the Sox this weekend--the Sox were just plain Bitch-slapped.
People talk about the Sox pitching being the problem-which is TRUE-it is the worst staff performance I have EVER seen in a series. But their BATS tonight cost them. Youk not betting Papi to third is inexcusable. Hinske not making contact-why the F did they get you?? And the best guy you can put up with the bases loaded is Mirabelli batting .198???
If this were a PS2 season I would quit...but since I can't-- trot out the Fatman tomorrow and let him go 9. The ragging I will take tomorrow is going to SUCK from my secretary to the UPS guy!!!!
