Sorry guys. Did one of those body detox things where you dont eat for three days and only take vitamins and drink lots of water and fake lemonade. Felt like dog the 2nd day and slept a bunch the third. Feel great now that I got all that stuff out of me though and lost 7 pounds in the process. Didnt do much gambling or capping, figured I could use the break anyway. I'll be back at it tomorrow and will post here more often.

Thanks for asking

would you recommend that body detox thing? It sounds very interesting

Absolutely recommend it. I was tired way too much. Trouble sleeping at night, more trouble getting up in the morning. This process lasted 3 days and you could not imagine the stuff that came out of my body. It really flushes your system. I won't go into details but the last day neon green stuff and other weird looking stuff was being passed.

Today I woke up before the alarm clock for the first time in probably over a year. I was ready to go. Probably in my case it was getting the caffine out of my system as I drink way too many diet cokes. The headache I had from withdrawals the second day proved to me that I don't want to get hooked on that stuff again. If it can make me feel that bad, what is it doing to my body?

If you have any other questions, post'em, I'll check back. Now I got to get the card posted for today. I'll be back around 630 central to check here. Picks will be up in 15 minutes, just want to check some winds and umps first.

TN,

I'd love to hear more about this detox thing. I need to lose a 4-5 kilos within the next 10 days. (I've made a bet with a friend and I'm running out of time...)

I did the mils plan (www.mils.com). I am really glad I did it. I am still down 6 pounds and my appitite has really changed. I was not hungry during the process (amazing as I am always hungry) and in the 3 days since I have not been snacking and my portion sizes are smaller. They say your stomach shrinks during the process and I believe it.

I would recommend it to anyone that has gotten into some bad habbits and wants to take control of their eating habits. I was eating a lot of junk food and drinking 3 or 4 diet cokes a day. I do feel better with more energy and hope to continue to lose a little weight. I plan on doing this at least once a year possible more if I feel I need it.

Warning. If you use a lot of caffeine, be prepared to have a nasty headache (mine was during the second evening). As you go though withdrawals and the toxins are being removed you will feel strange. But the end effect was more than worth it to me.

I checked with my doctor before starting and he gave me the ok. I would recommend doing the same before starting. I actually had a full physical before starting (needed it anyway) and discussed it with him.

Good luck to anyone that decides to try it. Let me know what you think.

I have never heard of any mils plans but guys be careful if you are not in great shape doing any sort of detox or fasting more than a day. I was a premed student here at stanford before switchin majors so dont put too much into what I say,but dieting like that can put a real strain on your heart if you dont understand alternative medicine. the best start to a detox program or cleaning out your system I have studied is a good Meditteranean diet, you would be surprised by how olive oil can really clean out your system,or a good macrobiotic diet, something with fish, sushi, lots of clean oils.if you are going to do a detox here is a good link we got in my alternative medicine class and I will post a good diet plan on there. congrats tommorrows newspaper,it can be a life changer I have heard in terms of energy.

guys starting to eat great food[olive oils, fish, fruits, and uh,colonic irrigation, enemas can really cleanse ,just be careful of dehydration and if you are overwight of what this can do to your heart.its a great idea done wisely.
