Team,

If you or anybody else has an outstanding issue with SBG, or any of our advertisers, they are free to contact theRX.com and we will fully investigate the situation.

I have dealt with hundreds of complaints in the past, and I have learned that you cannot make a judgment until you have heard both sides of the story. So with that in mind, it is unfair to us, our advertisers and our posters for you to report one-sided reports regarding any sportsbook, whether they advertise on theRX or not.

If there ever is a situation in which a sportsbook is flat out stiffing a customer, and we confirm it from both parties, I assure you that we will be the first ones to take action.

Thanks,
Rick

Why are they rated a D? F in my opinion.

Nobody stiffs just one.

Rick, so what is the possible reason that makes it ok to let someone deposit $10,500 and wager enough to win $18,821 and then confiscate the $18,821.

Even if the guy was booted from sports-gambling.com is it his responsibility to figure out SBG Global is the same company?

If SBG could figure out he was the same guy after he won $18,000. They could have figured it out when he opened his account.

I would like to hear what makes this ok in your eyes Rick.

Old,

We cannot allow information to be posted about a sportsbook that has not been confirmed by theRX, it is not fair to any sportsbook.

I have no problem with a poster saying that they are having a problem with a book and then contacting us with the details so we can try and rectify the situation. However, posting details about the problem prior to us looking into is unfair to us, the sportsbook and our posters.

Thanks,
Rick

Sean,

Unless I am contacted by the player, how can I comment on the situation? I am not comfortable commenting on a situation in which I only have one side of the story.

Thanks,
Rick

Just curious...what are you doing to get both sides of this story?

Rick,

Are you saying if I have an issue with a book then I need to email a mod instead of posting the story in the forum? Then once you talk to the book and get the other side you will post the story?

Is this the new RX rule for book complaints?

Clip,

By posting our policy here, I think it makes it clear that anybody with a problem is free to contact us.

Thanks,
Rick

What if they don't know about this site? Since it is your advertiser, wouldn't you contact SBR to find out what the situation is and let them know you would like to help the player get his money?

I am not saying SBR would be willing to turn the player over to you because these watchdog sites are pretty immature with these situations and always want the credit...but wouldn't it be easier for an advertiser to get the player his money than SBR?

edit: by the way, I am not saying it is TheRX's responsibility to chase the funds for players...but I don't see how you can say you do due diligence on advertisers if you don't try and get the players side in these instances. TheRX is the best online forum for sports bettors no doubt...but 99% of bettors don't know about this site.

Old,

I guess in a perfect world, I would like to see a poster make a post that says ‘I am having a problem with XYZ, and I have contacted theRX about it.’ And then let us work on the problem.

But this situation is different, the person with the problem is not the one posting here.

Thanks,
Rick

Rick,

SBG is now an advertiser at theRX.

SBR is a respected site and it seems a player is being stiffed $18,000 by SBG.

Not all players know about theRX, but clearly you know about SBR.

Forum users here (Your customers) have indicated their concern about the situation.

How about calling up the manager or your contact at SBG and finding out what the story is. Then you can come back here and report that it is true that SBG is stiffing someone $18,000 or you can come back here and report it is not true because____

Clip,

I like the guys at SBR, so I don’t want to make this a site-to-site issue. I feel it is best if we are contacted directly by customers.

Thanks,
Rick

Well then fortunately for you guys, you won't get too many complaints because not many here would be dumb enough to post up with a dishonest book like SBG.
