Ok SOMEONE save me from pounding Houston today. Cincy won 3 in a row, at home, Loesch has a 1.96 his last 3, and a 224 opponent batting avg. They come from 3 back late (always a plus for the next day) to win last night vs. a hapless, cold hitting, slumping Houston club whose starter has been poor except for last outing. I looked for this game to be -175 or 2-1, and pinny has it at like -127.
These "type" almost always win (The apparent WRONG side) so PLEASE talk me off Houston...........Thanks

Sinatrac....There's no need to talk you off the Stros...you've talked yourself off of them in your write-up. Why not look at this as a tremendous value play with Lohse at home?

Reds are a resiliant scrappy bunch...I wouldn't take the Stros after last nights bullpen meltdown.

I am NOT talking myself off Houston, I was hoping someone would give me a trend or a stat to justify this game being only -122 (Pinny). At -175 or -200 I would probably consider Cincy, at -132 I am confident Houston finds a way. I follow these kinds of games, you look STUPID when they lose, but they RARELY LOSE. Thanks and GL.

So in other words you're betting "the line" and not the game... I wouldn't read too much into this line..other than the betting world keeps waiting for the Astros to make their patented late season run. Lohse has looked great since straddling up with the Reds...I wouldn't bet against him tonight..not with the sleeping bats of the Stros..
