Coach LT Bash New Friends & Old Friends - New

I wanted to start a new thread to recognize the New & Old Friends I met at the Bash and to thank my nephew in law, Marshall Mike.

Marshall Mike. My nephew in law was with me. He had met a few at last years Bash. I was hesitant at first thinking that he would not fit in especially over a 5 day period and he was not a gambler or handicapper.. Boy, was I never more wrong. He was the life of the party and did not meet a stranger. I was so proud of him and especially grateful for ALL the RXers and their accepting Mike as one of their own. We had NEVER spent this much time together. We are NOW joined at the hip FOREVER! My wife is now worried that I have corrupted Mike to the dark side. Mike will hopefully register and post under the name of Jaun Casas. He says that is Spanish for John-Wad- Holmes. :lolBIG: :lolBIG: Mike was the man with the Pimp walking cane and we are now RX Bash Brothers! I loved the pimp cane..... next year deck him out in the entire zoot suit. Was a pleasure to meet him, I know him and Jen talked for a while and like you, she was mesmerized by him as well, you southern guys can sure sweet talk a woman, there was times I was worried that she would end up trying to find one of you two then come back to the room with me.....

The Mac Mafia always has a welcome sign hanging on the door for Marshall Mike...as long as the coach stays on the bus.

New Friends!

My short term memory is not the best so here goes.

SC Knit, see Unique Poster. I love this guy and if I was young again, I would want to be him!

8ate, a gentleman that sit with us at the banquet that was a semi mature man and was a lot of fun. We have a lot in common in the SEC. 8, I would rather die than be a Criminole.

Teaseman and wife. He looks almost like his avatar. We bonded instantly and I look forward to sharing info with him. A funny guy and his wife was a lady. Teaseman, we will talk.

UVW and Nicole. A wild and crazy high energy guy that is SHARP! Nicole is from Orange Park Fl which is about 30 miles from me. A funny and fun lovinf couple. UVW, we will talk.

Viejo Dinasour aka Arturro. A Bear of a man who ALWAYS had a smile on his face. Works for CRIS and knows a thing or 2 about the offshore industry. Art, say hello to Frank M for me and I will be calling you ar Cris.

Gynecologist. The second nicest guy at the Bash behind ONLY Dante. Very very underated and extremely low key. Could not help people enough. He probably surprised me the most. Gyno had a couple of problems with posters who are now banned. I am going out on a limb here and warn anyone that messes with this young gentleman, I will be there to hound their sorry ass. A furure treasure of sharp info.

Eric from Tampa. A fellow Gator who goes to all the games. Next year will get a chance to get to know him better. An up and comer. Tall good lookin guy. Why is everyone tall and good looking except me and Jaun Casas?:lolBIG:

Bluemyboy and Jen. MY favorite couple just ahead of Max Value and friend.
Both young and extremly attractive. When Jen smiles, the whole room lights up. Areally good hugger to boot. Blue, you have a keeper so if you fumble the ball you will have to answer to me. I smile whenever I see your posts. Hope you BOTH are at next years Bash.

Grav., My loss is that I did not get to know Gravy from what others have said about him. I will rectify that mistake next year.

Billsfan aka Joanna. There CANNOT be a female in these United States more knowledgeable about sports handicapping. A sweet smile and very gracious. Great things in her future. Thanks for being so nice.

WC Bias. What a surprise. I expected a semi mature man and I got a 30 something goodlooking sharp guy. An instant bonding, at least from my perspective. A woman killer for sure. WC, we will be sharing in the Cappers Conference thread in the College Football Forum.

Arne Lang. An old guard handicapper who has been around Vegas for ages. He was the author for ALL the CFB teams in the Insiders magazine that was part of Mark Lawrence's football preview. When he talks, I listen.

5 teamparly. Another guy that I briefly met and will try to get to know him better next year.

ACE-ACE. See Most Unique poster. The runaway MVP of the RX the past year. Judge, the evidence speaks for itself. A very low key and humble man. ACE is a treasure and should be accorded that stature. Outstanding man!

AD Banker. ACE's young side kick. This extremly nice young man takes a back seat to no one as far as knowledge in this endeavor. A great guy and is instantly likeable.

SUGARBEAR! A Bear of a man with the biggest smile on his face. He was one of the 2 or 3 new posters I wanted to meet the most. He exceeded my expectations and he is Sooooooo young. SB, we will get to know each other
a lot better at next years Bash and share more stories on the RX.

Paul, Brooke, Dee, and Mika of Sexywagers. Paul, I wish I had gotten to know you better. I want to thank you and the Lovely Ladies that brought spice,excitement, and fun to the Bash.

The lovely Brooke, a Gator, that now has a great looking Gator visor to proudly wear. Brooke, you are "The Cats Meow" That is the highest compliment I can bestow on a lady. I will be showing your poster tonight at the Jacksonville Beaches Gator Club meeting. arty:

Dee. the complete package. Thanks for spiceing up the Bash and for always having a smile on your face. Beauty and grace in a compact package.

Mika. Now talk about a lady that was Always smiling and treating everyone like they were the only ones there. Energy energy energy and beauty to match.
I hope to see ALL of you in the future. Heartfelt thanks for making this 06 RX Bash a Bas for the ages!





I am sure I missed a few and if I remember them I will add to this great group. The best part of the Bash is meeting and getting to know NEW people. We are ALL part of a great family. 07 Bash, here we come!

OLD OLD Friends!

The Best for last! Sorta like your first love, you always have a special feeling for them. If I have missed anyone, and with my short term memory loss, there will be a few and I will try to add on and offer my apology.


Illini. Hopefully this will not be your first or last time at #1:lolBIG: We have been friends for 3 years and Illini is like a younger brother. I am trying to transfer the little bit of knowledge and experience that I have on CFB to Illini before I start capping in the great beyond. A gentle and gracious young man who I want nothing but the best for him. Love ya, LT

The Indy guys. Thanks to Indy Mike and Indy Sports for graciously offering to entertain me at the 06 NCAA Final Four Basketball Tourney. Boy, I would like to have a do over for not going. I still kick myself in the ass for that one.
Gracious, funny, and great all round guys. We always have a FUN time when we are together. They are both a LOT better gambler than me and this last Bash proved that. Love you guys, OBTW, add Justin to the Indy Boys bunch. He is the brother in law to one of those F Heads. We will be sharing a lot this season.

Woofdaddy. My Mac Mafia brother. A super sharp guy in sports and financial markets. I would not mind being him. We talk at least a couple times a week. Woofy, I know I disappointed you and Red Eye with my flip flop on the Brooke issue but I am old and have lost most of my morals. She is still "The Cats Meow":lolBIG: I will call you on the book thing.

Red Eye. Another sharp and underated guy. He is a genius on futures and the Pac 10. A great guy to know. Red, see above post on the flip flop by me on the Brooke issue. I am only human and I am reinvigorated for football season. Thanks for being there when I call.

Kermit. Red Eye's best friend. A Las Vegas resident with a gorgeous wife that I met at dinner on sunday night. A gentleman's gentleman. Very knowledgeable and humble.

Viking611. A resident of Florida at the moment due to his job. I spent time with him in Jax while he was in training. Super nice guy and a hell of a picture taker. One of the good guys.

Kyhawk. First time meeting him this year and he is a Iowa fan as I am also. Will make it a point to get to know him better.

Max Value and "Friend" Max and friend were BY FAR the Most Attractive couple at the Bash! Max is young, good looking, funny, and very personable. His friend was "The Cats Meow" Together they absolutely stole the show. Hopefully there will be a future with them. Max, we will talk.

Mr Leisure. a funny guy that I wished I had gotten to know better. I will make that a priority at next years bash.

Kojak. What a wonderful surprise to see our old friend Kojak at the Bash. Still a great and funny guy. We need him back with the RX family. Come on down, Kojak. we need you.

The Fawv. Damn, another good looking and funny guy. I must be one of the few ugly Mo Fo's here. Also a SEC Brother. Thank you for being you and never change. His smile lights up the room and causes women to swoonuppy:

Jimmy Hoffa and Wife. This couple is supposed to be together. I learned that Jimmy has at least 8 tvs that he watches all the time. 2 of them are in his garage and he sometimes watches them when it is REALLY COLD! That is a dedicated guy. I always look forward to seeing them and renewing our friendship.

Pops69, another mature member of my generation that is an absolute HOOT! He should get a nobel prize for his elimination of "free radicals" from the MALE human body. Keep on keeping on, Pops!

Kiss1. The swimming shark man. It was nice to meet your wife. You are a very lucky man. We will talk this year. I said last year that I wiold want him in a foxhole with me. Kiss, keep krackin nutts when it is called for.

VVV, and Mrs VVV. One of the couples that I look forward to seeing each year. I had assumed that they were residents of Las Vegas and was surprised to find out they live in Nashville. Better a southerner than not. VINNY is a sharp guy and I look forward to sharing info on CFB.

Mr&Mrs Jeffksu. They are ALWAYS a fixture at the Bashes. Living in Las Vegas helps. Jeff is the spitting image of movie actor Albert Finney. You are lucky to have an understanding wife and I wish that for myself. Always smiling and I look forward to seeing them both each year.

GI Joe and wife. I finally got a chance to talk to Joe this year. What a treat and a good personality to match. GI, hopefully there will be ANOTHER huge BJ payday in your future.

Woody O. Retired professor from Vancouver. Another mature RX poster that is sharp. I missed sharing info with Woody this year but will keep my eye on him in the forums. A nice and classy guy.

Bert Tex. My Texas friend who is leaving Austin for Panama. He is a retired postal employee. He knows his Longhorns and the Big 12. We will still talk even with Bert in Panama.

Sharky 99. Another SHARP SHARP guy! A Las Vegas resident that when he speaks, I listen. Always look forward to seeing him. Young and talented.

Quantumleap. Another sharp guy that I value his opinion. We got to know each other better at this years Bash. Will be talking to you weekly. Thanks for ALL kind words. They are muchly appreciated.

Spreadbeater and 'Friends' SB, you are still the MAN! Another young and sharp guy. He is the only guy I know that has a "posse" SB, what has happened to Chuck?

Juan. Part of Spreadbeaters friends. a good guy who is a Seminole and that is ok with me.

Mr Smith. My FSU Seminole friend. A quiet and reserved guy who knows his southern football. I respect Mr Smith more than any other Seminole. I also value his opinion on his own team. He tells it like its is, good or bad. That is all you can ask. Mr Smith, you are one of the good guys.

Fellow RX Posters, You owe it to yourself to try to come to a Bash. EVERYONE is friendly and approachable. You will make friends for a lifetime. As Steve Spurrier said when Florida would play in a big game "Boys we will make memories for a lifetime"

The RX has become like a second family to me now that I have retired from the workforce. Cannot wait for next years Bash. Come on down! LT :toast: arty:
