The Dodgers go on an insane winning streak now can't win a game...the entirte division is coming and going! What is amazing is the WC could come out of this scrap heap....look at Colorado and Arizona who also both had control of this division at points during this crazy season, bot heading south again!

Don't count out my Giants just yet!!!

The last 3 games of the season are at home against the Dodgers. Should be a very exciting series between hated rivals if both teams are shooting for the NL West crown.

I don't see how anyone could, they're the only team who hasn't had their hands on this thing YET...A week from now they just might be leading it.

The Dodgers prove they were A+ for the trade deadline moves.

And how many people said 'WTF are they doing?'

I don't think anyone said that...I think everyone was impressed with their trades.

I think most people were saying WTF are the Braves doing giving up Betemet?

The Maddux deal was a nice pick up but I think even they are surprised with how well he has pitched.

Do you think the Yanks have the A.L. East all sewn up now?

If you check out the Sagarin pitching ratings, there are only 2 teams in the National Leauge that have 3 pitchers in the top 20 (126 or more innings pitched):

LA: Lowe, Maddux, and Penny
SD: Peavy, Hensley, Young

Of course, LA and SD stadiums are great places to pitch, so take this with a grain of salt.

By the way, in the AL there are 3 teams:

Yanks: Mussina, Wang, and--yes--R. Johnson
Angels: Santana, Lackey, and Escobar
Tigers: Bonderman, Verlander, and Robertson

Less than 126 innings and you have to add Jered Weaver to the mix for the Angels (at least for starting pitching).

As the underdogs they would be, I would think that LA, SD, and LAA might be dangerous in the playoffs (especially in a 5 games series), just on account on their starting pitching.
