The 5 games for 8/27

the object of the game is simple. I will list 5 games (w/ listed starters) and you guys try to guess what the line is going to be...not what it SHOULD be neccessarily. The person who is the closest to the Vegas lines wins. Points are given for every cent you are off on the moneyline and the winner is the person with the least amount of points.

if there is a pitching change on any of these games, that game will be voided from this contest.

this contest is also a great tool for baseball betting because you should all be doing this anyways :103631605

here are the games (w/ listed pitchers):

MIL: C. Capuano (11-8, 3.55)
FLA: A. Sánchez (5-2, 3.44)

SD: J. Peavy (7-12, 4.35)
COL: A. Cook (8-12, 4.05)

LAD: C. Billingsley (4-3, 3.07)
ARI: L. Hernández (10-10, 5.19)

TB: S. Kazmir (10-8, 3.24)
BAL: A. Loewen (4-4, 5.57)

OAK: D. Haren (12-9, 3.79)
TEX: V. Padilla (12-8, 4.38)

Thanks for keeping this up, bznofx! I will not fair well, I'm afraid, but I am happy to participate!!

I will learn and get better through this but I don't cap games much at all.....I find my plays in a manner such that price is not one of the first line indicators. At the same time, I wish I was a good capper and I will get closer to that goal by fighting through this with you guys!

Do you think you or maybe even me could set up a weekly set the lines contest (not sponsored or anything) in the football forum for the NFL? tulsa
