Do you guys remeber when bachelor parties were the nite before the wedding?

Now it seems everyone's is a week before and is a full day event with golf and other things. Almost more time spent at these then wedding day.

Was telling somoene younger than me (I'm 35) that back 15 years ago or so I remebr some bachelor parties the nite before. He looked at me like I was nuts and that does seem odd doesn't it?

My first marriage, my father in law came to the bachelor party, what a moron. Maybe thats why it never lasted, ha ha ha.

Mine was a week before. Good idea, because 2 members of the wedding party went to jail that night. We were at "the block" in Baltimore. My wife drove by with a couple of her friends as the cops had 10 of us lined up against a wall. Two of my buddies got free accomadations that night.

Went to a friends bachlor party a few years back and unfortunately the bride to-be stopped by and sure enough the groom had this naked woman all over him. Damaged done and this marriage was doom, lasted less than 2 years.

My brother's was the night before and this was in 1984. I remember his best friend buying him a triple shot of something. He said he felt like shit the day of the wedding. It's good to have it before.

I also remember a lady at the bar trying to get my brother in bed. I wonder if she figured it would be a challenge to get him to do it.

i would never marry a girl that would feel the need to stop by my bachelor party..

LOL i was at a bachelor party where the bride to be came in and beat the groom and the stripper ass. Probably one of funniest moments i ever witnessed in my life.; :dancefool

Never been to one the night before. Logic has taken over and people are now having them beforehand.

That whole night before thing is a flat out bad idea given what bachelor parties have turned into.

I was at a wedding where the groom had to leave the altar to go outside and puke. His in-laws weren't real impressed but at least he had fun the night before.

Being a resident of South Beach, I've been called upon to host a plethoro of bachelor parties. I promise you that no one who attends my parties are going to a wedding the next day.

The best thing about Miami is that over the last 10 or 15 parties, I've made friends with so many bi chicks that usually end up nude or topless with the strippers that I really don't have to hire strippers anymore - just call about 10 of them and get the party favors ready - one was Ms Peru in 01 or 02. She's my favorite - super hot. I woke up under a desk chair with no clue where I was. I was stunned that she had written her number on a napkin from the night before! Now that is good luck.

WHY THE HELL would you EVER let your finace know where the party is at? and most of the time the groom-to-be never knows anyway - the best man and his friends take him places and stuff like that

My nephew's was the night before his wedding this past June. He was so wrecked that he threw up on a girl giving him a lap dance. (Instant admission to the HoF for the boy.) He was fine the next day, too.
