S-L-0-W day in the world of sports on this Monday(only a handful of MLB games), thus lets shoot the breeze about the Monday Night match-up that kicksoff at 8:00 pm EDT.

The line opened BENGALS -5.5 and it is now down to -5 at the majority of shops, with even a few -4.5's sprouting up at a few places(5dimes & Cris to name a couple).

Feel free to mention any thoughts you have on this affair and/or any angles you may be looking at.

Thanks in advance,

Some minor trends favoring the PACKERS..........

Entering this year, the PACKERS were 13-9-1 ATS as a DOG in their most recent preseason games.

BENGALS a misearable 7-16-1 ATS as a FAV in recent preseason games entering this season.

PACKERS are 7-1-2 ATS in WEEK THREE of the preseason the past ten years.

Fish, I dont know if any one else thinks, but I dont see Green Bay getting over 7 wins. I think Favre will have another horrible year and I also predict by 3/4 of the season you will see Rodgers in place. I think the only thing keeping alot of people pounding the Bengals is the uncertainty of Palmer. No way they keep him in 3/4 of the game if he looks sharp. To me if he comes out and looks sharp and their is no hesitation when he throws I dont think he will play past the half, it would be fruitless. I like the word fruitless how about you.

The home opener for the PACKERS against the BEARS will be a great indication of the year ahead for the GB PACKERS.

Who in the hell is betting the Packers?:realtongu

This game won't be close, tons of emotion in this game with Carson being back. Farve is done, I am taking first half for easy money. Palmer may only play a few snaps or what not, but our back ups aren't playing to shabby either.

And word is out, big ole' sammy will make his first appearance in black and orange.

For thos liking the OV think again, been raining all night and day, with more storms predicted tonight. Under is the best bet right now, not sure what it opened, but un 40.5 looks dandy.

GB will be held to 10 or less points. I see a ground game in the making for tonight, hard to throw the deep ball with it down pouring and winds a gusting.

And to end, I will be there in the mess too:dancefool

Total opened at 42.5

By the way, if the weather is bad, this should favor the underdog Packers.

Line opened alot lower than -5.5 Fishy. Ton of early sharp action on Cincy and a little action on the over.

I have both of those bets but I need to handicap earlier so I don't miss these damn line moves. Anyway, Cincy scores 30+ tonight.

Pinny opened -3.5 as did CRIS and Mansion. Took less than 40 minutes to get to -5.5.
