In tonights football game If you like Green bay would you play

Green bay +4.5 -107 or

Green bay +5.5 -120

I know my thoughts but am intereted in what others think

You're only gaining the 5, and it isn't worth 13c

I agree. Other than key numbers, any idea what a half point is worth?

Ps. If I were a teaser player I would like that 5.5 number.

I was always taught not to tease down and always tease up. Any opinons from the RXer's...just looking for different ideas about teasers, everyone here deals with them daily.

I was always taught to NEVER tease.

Play both (or all three) games against the -110 line and you'll get paid more often.

Why would you like 5.5 as a teaser player? Through the 7 and 10? Not sure it's +EV.. teasing 1.5 to 2.5 up I could understand, but not 5.5.. the 10 is worth slightly less than 7, and it's the 3 that makes the 3/7 +EV

The 5 is worth the least of any number, probably 5-6c, if that.

The rule, I believe, is to always tease through at least 2 key numbers. ie

taking 8.5 down to 2.5 getting the 7 and the 3 or

5.5 to 11.5 getting the 7,10 and 11

I'm not a big teaser player and I am sure there are others that could give you much better advise

I reccomend Don P's excellent book "Win More, Lose Less" if you want to find out which combinations are +EV

Must be why alot of Vegas books quit taking two team teasers. They hated taking everyones money I guess.:monsters-

Great post. Just came back from Reno. They don't allow totals on any teasers.
