I am in Idaho for a little while and was wondering if anyone is familiar with the Reno/Tahoe area when it comes to future betting. I would like to make some season under/over (nfl) wagers and don't want to drive all the way to Vegas. Do they have larger books in these areas that accept future bets? If anyone has any advice it would be welcomed.

I assume you don't bet online?

edit: sorry for the question...I actually hate when people do this. Someone asks a question and instead of replying with an answer in their thread, an idiot like me justs asks them a question. That doesn't really get you the information you were looking for.

The reason I asked is because online almost every book has future bets and you can find a much better price and you wouldn't need to drive back to Reno/Tahoe to get your money if you win.

Good luck finding out the info.

I do and already have a few k in futures at 5dimes but with all the b.s going on with Bos and offshore in general i would rather do the bulk of these particular bets there and not worry..Maybe its just my paranoia

I would try the Reno Hilton.

If your coming from the east on Interstate 80 it will be on your left side off the interstate, can't miss it. If they don't have it, I would go downtown. I have always stayed at the Hilton, not familiar with the other casinos there.

Don't forget to visit Mustang Ranch. Its on 80 as well.

How much would that run a guy?? Not that i'm interested:niceass: :niceback: :thumbsup2:

Last time I went through there they were locked up and the owner was in jail for tax evasion. (I think) I don't know if they ever opened again. Took some pictures with my girlfriend by the front gate. That was about it.

We lost about 300 the night before gambling. We stopped at a gas station/ resturant for breakfast the next morning. They had $1 keno so I bought two cards. My card hit 8 out of 10 for $500. We had a great time in Reno.

Mustang Ranch has been closed over a decade man, don't waste your time. The ranches are just outside of Carson City on Hwy 50.

Reno is a crap-hole. I hate the place more than Miami, if that is possible. You must be kidding if you are going to drive there just to make bets from Idaho. Just go to Jackpot or even Wendover and you won't miss anything. I believe there is a Cal Neva outlet up in Jackpot and that is about as good as you find in Reno.

Come to think of it, not sure who runs the Cactus Petes. Went there about 5 years ago for work. I do remember seeing a Leroys so at the worst that will be your choice.

if you're betting a few k, good luck finding a place in reno to book those futures. i may have been in the wrong places, but even betting a few hundred on game lines, the clerk would have to call upstairs to get approval. my experiences betting there have been a joke.
