back in the late 80's early 90's i used to get my 20 employees together and watch this dude once a month.don't remember much about it,but if we did it once a month it must have been good. i do remember the employees loved it and always asked "when are we going to watch zig again"

Saw him about 10 years ago, along with other speakers at a Peter Lowe seminar. THought he was winding down his career then as he seemed pretty old but I guess he's still at it. He's very good and entertaining....you'll think you can conquer the world after listening to him for an hour or so. The only problem is that listening to those speakers rarely turn into life-changing events, and my go for the gusto mentality after hearing Zig waned a few days later.

As far as motivation speakers go, I tend to think you pretty much have to
play the cards that are dealt you...you either are a motivated person or you're not, or perhaps somewhere in between. But that said, you'll enjoy listening to Zig, and if he can make a difference then more power to you.

Back in the 80's when I used to smoke a lot of dope, my dad used to push some of Zig's tapes on me to listen to on my return trips to college.

I have his 6 CD set of "see you at the top". I LOVE listening to the entire set when on a long trip. I love the way he tells stories, speaks, and his selling stories are legendary. I don't know of anyone better. I also love Brian Tracey but Zig has a better presentation.

I great idea to go see him live and good luck!!!

Zig's pretty cool.

I've seen him live plenty of times during the 80s and 90s and even spent a few Sunday mornings at a Sunday School class he taught during the 80s at Highland Park Baptist in Dallas.

He's too Southern Baptist which hampers some of his message, imho, but his general attitudes about life are solid.
