This has to be a joke, right?

Some guy marrying lots of girls with lots of followers is one of the top 10 criminals in the world?

He didn't shoot anyone. He didn't kill anyone. He didn't rape anyone although they are trying to say by overseaing a marriage of someone under 18 he did...

I am not saying I'm gonna marry lots of girls and I am not saying it is right for anyone to do so, but all the girls knew in his case, and it certainly is not a crime worthy of being listed next to Osama.

What a joke.

The guy was a MAJOR polygamist, heard some bad shit about him a while back...good that he was caught. Obviously knew he was wanted too, had fake beards, cash, the whole works.

Yes, polygamy is illegal but it is not necessarily immoral. Polygamy can be done morally, as it appears to be in this case, or it can be done immorally. For instance, in this case all the women are married to this Jeff guy of their own free will and with full knowledge that he has multiple other wives. I know many women in our monogamous society who want less time with their husbands, in return for the same or increased financial support from that husband. These women, in this polygamous relationship, seem to be completely happy with this arrangement and are actually clamoring for more children to raise communally with the other wives. Considering the fact that our monogamous society has a divorce rate of > 50%, its hard to say that one is right and one is wrong. Now I understand the reasons why we legally have a monogamous society, but we are in very grave danger of eliminating that by the way with our attempts to legalize homosexual marriage.

I dont understand why polygamy is illegal.

If all people are consenting adults - why does anyone care? Sounds a lot like the gambling bills - just people projecting their morality on the masses.

Maybe someone can educate me but for the first time yesterday I thought about this and just dont get it.

and this is why he is on the 10 most wanted list.
