If you played every contest you could

There are so many contests available, on this site and others, that I was wondering how profitable it is if you could play them all (or most).

At the end of a year, would the money you won be worth the time and effort (keeping track of the contests, choosing your picks, etc...).

I seem to remember someone on here once saying he made about $5,000 a year playing a bunch of contests at a bunch of forums.

Any contest whores here?

I will only state that I have "AVERAGED" much more than $5,000 a year in contests over the past 7 years online.

Worth ones time?..................thats strictly an individual preference, as it most certainly takes up a certain amount of time on a daily/weekly basis.

What's the strategy in that? Like, if you're playing two very similar contests at two different sites, do you make the same picks for each?

Again, an individual thing.

Will say this, there have been times where I have hedged one contest against another..........but those times are rare overall.

I was not in many last year, but bottomline is that contests are huge to overall success, if you are already making picks, why not jump in on a couple..... Fish is dead on here!

and to add to this, after last year where I made good money with them, I am now in about 25-30 contests this year.

If you kept track of your time used to participate in all these contests, you could do the math on what you earned hourly, then compare it to what you earn hourly doing whatever else you do.

100% correct

Would like to add though that most people can participate in a wide arrary of contests while simply relaxing and listening to music, watching a movie, watching a sporting event, having sex, or something similar to the above activities ...............hence there is no real excuse for the majority here to not be pulling down 5 figures+ a year if they so desired to do so and were motivated.

Completely understand that many do not have this motivation or simply would rather relax completely doing other things and that is understandable for sure and something that should be respected by all so called "deluxe contest whores".
