has anyone accidentally hit the button for a wager at SIA. With no confirmation word to be typed in and they will occasionally change the odds without telling you. BE CAREFUL.

Still overall a great book that I love:103631605

GREAT, GREAT advice ICE!

PLEASE be careful and check your wagers on the confirmation screen before placing wagers at SIA.

Just the other day I accidentally placed a MAX bet on USA -24.5 against Australia, when I meant to take Australia +24.5

They are pretty goog about voiding the ber, but you do not get the refund till after the event is over....

As it turned out, USA won by like 50 points or something, if only I hadnt reviewed my bets it would have been a Dream situation, as it was a Middle attempt, I would have won both bets on USA

I usually let accident bets go as maybe it was "meant to be" but if this was a middling/scalping opp, imagine you had a nice sum of money on it so would probably want to cancel that.

It is the bettor's responsibility to read the slip before confirming
a wager. SIA isn't the only book where the odds change from
the time of selection to confirmation.

X-Files, I don't think he's faulting the book, just a very good public service announcement is all :103631605

The main point is, that SIA has does not have a confirmation screen like the vast majority of books have, as soon as you click, your bet is confirmed, actually, I think its the only book that has no confirmation screen at all

ARE YOU SURE?

For the first time ever at SIA I got a warning this morning about a line change which listed both the old and new line in European odds format.

Possibly they've had many complaints from their clients and finally got around to writing the necessary software.

WSEX doesn't have a bet confirmation screen either. I once emailed them to suggest they add a confirmation screen since most of my other books do and they sent me a really rude response. I was really surprised to get such a response from a book I thought was good.

And when you call in a bet at wsex all they do is ask for your user name (WITHOUT ASKING YOUR PASSWORD) you tell them what you want and how much and then they hang the phone up in your face. I have had to call back many times just to make sure the bet went through.

X Files,

If you are logged in the user name and password fields do not appear, and when most people browse the book they are logged in.....

I really hate that you can't bet the amount you want at WSEX, but they are a top book that has a lot.

in fact

In fact quite a lot of books are like that. Wliiam Hill's being one. It's possible SIA got their software from Hills as on non-US sports they generally clone their lines from Hills.

I made the mistake, but still have a chance. (SIA)

Meant to bet Hornish for the Indy 500 , accidentally hit the Points Championship (they were same odds). I didn't realize it till day after the race.

He has a 1 point lead in point standings.
If he doesn't win, it will be a real rough lesson learned.

SS, I am aware of that, though have no idea why you would mention this.
My reply had to do with your comment that SIA has "no confirmation
screen at all".

SBR receives multiple SportsInteraction (SBR rating C+) complaints Players report missing withdrawal requests and week long payout delays. Management tells SBR that there were system errors causing the book to loose both deposit and withdrawal information during the last week, but says these issues have been resolved. Sports Interaction management also admits that the book is at least four days behind on email responses saying, "We just don’t have the man power to keep up right now". SIA will not turn on the site’s LiveChat feature until the backlogged emails are answered.

Sweat the payout, not the game !
