MARLINS on the charge!

WILLIS vs SUPPAN tonight with the current line at -120

I am bringing this game up in this forum as I would like to know those with an opinion on WHAT DIRECTION YOU SEE THIS LINE TAKING from here on out.

Thanks in advance, your friend and foe.....

Cards horrible record against lefties....Jeff Suppan pretty good when pitching at new Busch.

Suppan since all star break
4-2 with a 2.72 ERA in eight starts since. He has allowed one run or fewer in five of those outings.

WOW, if he doesn't play this line should go up.

Can't see him not playing though..........can you?

What is your opinion on this line Mr. Casino whore........errrrr Viking611?

I think you can throw left handed record out right now as pertinent with the addition of Preston Wilson and Ronnie Belliard. Adds another power rh bat to go with hot rh bats of Pujols,Rolen,Encarnacion. Willis has not fared well though I don't have stats vs Cards. Cards besides Mulder's starts have done real well of late. Should be nice game but feel Cards are starting to smell the Division title.

PS Viking....since posting again, Cards have gone from tied to 4.5 games up. :thumbsup2:

Although they do deal a 20 cent line...........CRIS just went from -120 to -130 within the past 15 minutes or so.

He's pitched very well all season at Busch. Has a great record and very decent ERA for him. Heard in his last start...believe 6 or 7 wins and ERA of around 3.

four of the five meetings this year between the two clubs have gone over 9 with the other meeting be a 7-2 Cardinal win, landing on the current O/U of 9.

Interesting trend on Cards home 3 game series this year.

When Cards have lost Game 1 of series and won Game 2 of series, Cards are 4-0 in Game 3.
Also, when Cards play 3 game series with 3rd game of series determining outcome, Cards are 7-0 at home in this scenario.

that collapse last night really hurt Florida, a streaking team , big lead and get bombed going away...for the past 80+ games they have been the NL second best team.

Agreed. Still tough for me to pass up + money with a team that is 9-1 L10 with their "ace" on the hill. Willis has a 3.33 road ERA, and St. Louis is 19-29 this year against lefties.

Willis is getting plus money? I would go with the plus money if that is the case. Willis has been throwing harder and much more control than earlier in the season. He is still one of the hardest pitchers to hit. Those young guys are eager to start another win streak.
