Giants/Cubs Thoughts?

haven't been paying much attention to baseball lately...Have the Giants been playing that poorly? I just don't think much of the Cubs and was thinking that Lowry -120 looked pretty good. Anyone???

plus I want something to help pass my afternoon

The fucking Cubs have just killed bettors lately, including me. Dempster blew consecutive extra inning wins for crying out loud. Their pen is a mess. The Giants haven't been great, but they're still in the WC hunt and can't afford to slip over an inferior team. Even with lee back the Cubs still have serious problems, I like SF here.

Really like the under... Bonds and Durham might not play....

Dusty actually manages against three teams every year and this is one of them. Hill has started against them in SF (when Dusty didn't want to pitch him). Hill has pitched very well since being recalled and would not want to bet against him today. I am concerned about the bullpen however.

Like the Giants except for the bad scheduling on this game. Giants played last night in Atlanta and now right back for day game in Chicago. The league should stop this kind of scheduling.

I like Rich Hill vs the Giants today...

Lowry has been dealing...but has struggled a bit on the road.

Adding into the mix that the Giants are coming off a night game...and the Cubs had a day off and are well rested...

I like the Cubs.

Lowry has been lights-out in his last to trips to the hill. He won both starts while allowing just one earned run on eight hits.

If he doesn't get it together, the cubs are going to turn the lights out on him early. Come on Giants, let's get to the cubs pen
