When it is all said and done 12 years from now i think that is just how they will rate. Cutler has the best chance to be a great one. Leinart is going to be another Pennington and Young will be out of the league within 4 years imo.

I think he has a chance to be something special.

i have said for some time now

VINCE YOUNG WILL BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST BUSTS IN NFL HISTORY

and i see ZERO reason to change my mind now

in the not-to-distant future the Titans will be needing ANOTHER qb for this one won't be worth $.10

With Cocktail Collins about to become the starter it won't be long until Vince is under center. Hard to see Vince being a star the way the NFL plays the QB position though. Mike Vick would be twice the player if they let him improvise more, but when you spend millions on your QB you don't risk him to injury or let him ignore other millionaires you sign to play with him. Say what you want about his abilities, Young and Vick are potentially fun and exciting players to watch. Sports is supposed to be entertainment for most, not just who can throw the best textbook passes.

Ive seen both play/practice LOTS. Cutler in college and Young this fall , both in Nahville. Cutler has the arm to be a decent NFL quarterback. No chance of pro bowl ever. Maybe a starter for a few years, and i bet Denver would take that right now. Young has tried to do too much at times so far as a Titan, but hes shown flashes of insane ability. His awareness and vision have carried him thus far. In the right offense he could do some amazing things. But im not sure if any NFL team has such an offense. He dont have McNairs arm strength but he has his toughness, leadership and Vick-like running ability.

In rebuilding mode I think the Titans made the right choice. Young could be a superstar although odds are against it. A Cutler type can be aquired via free agent. Look at Kerry Collins, Cutler will never be as good as he is, and he was unemployed last week.

Well look at it this way

Cutler is a more mature QB with more actual NFL experience and poise at this stage.

Vince Young will be great in 2-3 years IF he gets good coaching and they bring him along the way a young QB should be, he;s npot going to step in and be a pro bowl QB as a rookie. I remember Elway looking horrible his first 2-3 years because they just put him in and let him sink or swim.....with that arm once he got a supporting cast it was a done deal......the thing is if theyu don;t give up on Young and stick with him and develop hiis talent for 2-3 years he will be a pro bowl caliber QB.

The surprise of the year is going to be Joey Harrington, I see him having a great year, leading the Dolphins to the playoffs pretty much alone (well if the OL can give him time).......I can see Harrington in the Pro Bowl this year (yeah I know he's #2 on the depth chart, but that should change real quick. Dante is on his way out, hell be a solid backup for the next 4-5 years but he doesn;t have what it takes to start in the NFL anymore (if he ever did) he's inconsistent and does not protect the ball.

Lienert is further along than Young at this point but with some good coaching Young has the athletic ability to be a starter fro 8-10 years........it all depends on how the coaches bring him along.....but he's got all the tools.......he's just a rookie and rookie QB's (besides maybe Big Ben) don;t normally step in and run the team it takes miost of them a few years to make the adjustment from college to the pro's

AJ Feeley if he ever gets any time will also be a winner in this league.:thumbsup2:
