Good list Railbird:103631605 I'd like to add to the honorable mention, the catcher from Lemont...Sorio or Soria?? Remember that awesome block of the plate in that critical situation? Tough kid gets a "bone" from me....

I will forward this list to the families. I'm sure everyone will be proud their little ones were nominated by a group of degenrate gamblers. Congrats to the winners!

Way too many West region kids on the list. They cannot even field a team that can make it to the USA semifinals.

Just a little fun at Rail's expense. His list is probably very accurate. Pretty obvious and for obvious reasons, that the West is by far and away the best region.

Arizona made MULTIPLE accusatiions that Georgia DUMPED game vs Illinois, so they would not have to face Shaun Chase in National Final.

Was actually a down year for the west, I think they losing ton of kids to travel ball, and new age requiremnets bringing domainate pitchers in for Equalizer. NewHampshire Bean, Illinois Ferry.

Royal Fan,

The obvious reason is not year round ball, obvious reason is Bigger field. SoCal teams have to win 12 more games then other regions. West is a pool of 1500 teams, NewEngland about 100 teams. NewEngland more of a Jacuzzi then a pool

I couldn't agree more. I said obvious reasonS, and you just named them both. Many more kids in that area play baseball year round and more kids from other parts of the country get involved in other sports more, as they should at this age.

Royalfan,

The most obvious reason is West coast kids are far superior athletes to rest of the country
