uppy:I am going tommorow and Monday so I hope it rains all day even though I have loser that's been rain delayed and just want to get the misery over with, but weather.com has the chance of precipitation either at 80% or 100% untill 8:00 pm.. Current update is 2:30 New York time at the earliest. But then I think night session with Serena/Ivanovic might be first match. As it is. Agassi is the 3rd match scheduled during the day session, so it would be pretty surprising if they get his match in. It would set up a back to back situation with Becker and potentially Roddick on Monday.
Thanks Hope. Could be a TON of matches tommorow so just grounds pass. Dementieva is 1-2 when I have seen her live(One was doubles though). If she loses tommorow, I will never watch another match of hers live again. I am expecting real good seats for that one. Monday could be special with Roddick/Agassi possible and a couple of others good one's potentially Serena/Ivanovic/Mauersmo and Pierce/Sharapova on Ashe.

Roddick will catch a big break if he can get his match in today (assuming he wins of course). Andre can't go two matches (Sun then Monday) with that back. Just awful break for him. I'll be stunned if he loses to Becker now, but can't like his chances on Monday.
just a side note--Andre has been gettign periodic injections on his back over the last 4 yrs (going off memory here, I believe he has had 5 cortisone shots during this period), hence the back issues are not 'new'-- but NEVER in/during a tournament, like he had this week. He had a cortisone shot after the Pavel match, he couldn't even stand,lol. Then an anti-inflammatory injection after the Marcos match. Obvioeuly, if this wasn't The US Open he would have pulled out. He's gogin to give it all he can.

let me add to your Patty comment. She plasy with a TON of topspin, high bounce,RARELY hitting a flat ball---NOT good for windy conditions, hopefully she doesnt have to go otu today. Bartoli plays a flat ball.

I guess WWTS had an in progress line up but I missed it. Knowing them, I am not even sure they were aware of it being in progres cause I wanted to reduce the damage. Plus Patty is a nut job to begin with. Who knows what's going on with her and her creepy criminal husband. Have you seen her and her husband's bizzare website (http://www.the-white-mile.org/). She and her husband should be sent to the looney bin. Strange website for a professional athlete or anyone to be honest. Hopefully she's drinking enough orange juice during the rain delay.
