Cant believe it, guys is suppose to be pitching in 11 hours. Talked to my buddy Pineman, guy went to watch the USC game and he has been doing shots all night. Guy is too old to be doing this kind of stuff. Says he is tired of baby sitting him, gets old after awhile.

Guy does this 4 nights a week. Becomes a problem when you have a day game. Guy is David Wells. Back in the neighborhood in OB. Drinking double and causing trouble. Last time he was this bombed he got arrested.

Wells was the subject of some controversy prior to the 2003 season, when his autobiography Perfect I'm Not: Boomer on Beer, Brawls, Backaches and Baseball, was published. Wells was fined $100,000 by the New York Yankees for isparaging comments which appeared in it. One of them included himself having a hangover when he pitched his perfect game. Amusingly, Wells claimed to have been misquoted in the book, which was presumably penned by a ghost writer.

i had a game just like this with dave rozema he got wasted a day before his start in the afternoon.........i played over he lasted 2.1 innings lol good luck i may take cincy and o ver??>>>>>>>>>>uppy:

FYI,

Major league baseball players play drunk and hung over all the time. Half the players on the field will be hung over.

I know because a friend of mine used to be a MLB player.

Be careful about unloading anti-Wells, just because he was drinking last night. That is probably just how the guy lives, and the a-hole has been pitching quite well lately. Cincy is tanking badly, and Wells will probably be very pumped up for this game. He's been wanting to play in SD for a while.

Give Wells credit. He's found 2 things that he's extremely good at. Throwing a baseball and drinking.
