Lucky to win game one, destroyed in game 2 even after the opposing teams starting pitcher leaves with in 6 pitches

Today

Their "so called ace" is getting hit like a pinata at a mexican kid's birthday party.

You would think with 4 games against a team ahead of you in the wildcard standing that maybe you'd play with some urgency and spirit?

They have blown a huge opportunity this weekend to gain ground and become apart of this playoff race.

Lifelong Braves fan but I must agree. I wouldn't call Hudson the ace though, Smoltz is the only starter I fell good about. Maybe rookie Chuck James will pan out. Somethings just not there this year.

what has to be frustrating more then anything is the inconsitency.

they win 2 out of 3 @ home against SF, and then go on the road, in what really is a season turning series against a playoff contender, and they bomb so miserably.

Agree totally. They stay just close enough to make you think they have a chance of slipping into the playoffs.
