Looks like Louisville is done for the year

Michael Bush being carted off the field now with a brace on his knee. If he is out for more than a few games they are done. No way they can beat Miami or WV without him

Broken fibula, that sucks, I was thinking they could go far this year. Only tough games against Miami and WV are at home.

feel for the guy. Turned down the NFL for this season and then this. I respect those guys that turn down the NFL to come back to play college (even if their motives are to better there NFL position).

FYI: just heard on TV that he had a $2M insurance policy taken out for this year.

That really sucks. At least it's just a broken leg rather than some potentially career ending knee destruction.

Man oh man, as a long time Card fan, this is a horrible blow. They have good back ups, but they can't replace him. It would have been tough to beat WVU or Miami with him. Now? Tough road.

As for the "running up the score" comment, real nice. Guy deserves a broken leg because the other team isn't as good? Besides, it was 31-14 at the time of the injury. And you have to understand how much these 2 programs HATE one another. Even the president of UK was talking smack. You think Ohio State wouldn't like to beat UM by 40 if they could? Please.

Bush is a class guy and I hope he comes back. He has the option to redshirt. My guess is that if Brohm decides to come back, he will to. Just a guess. Anyway, his surgery was successful this morning:
