I'm a diehard Phils fan and I was an idiot back in April when I traded Howard for Weeks and Shelton during F.Baseball....what a big time blunder....rooting hard for Howard to get over 60.

I just heard this on the radio this week about the Phillies and RyHow.

Apparently 3 years ago when the Phils were in a situation similar to this years where they were fighting for the NL Wild Card, the Phillies offered RyHow to the Pirates for Kris Benson. The Pirates said no.

Thank God that Pirates management blows worse than the Phillies'

im hearing from people in Philly that the rumor is that he Howard is on something also. From now on we will never really know as there are ways to fool drug tests with drugs that mask.

where did your buddies in philly hear this? and what was the exact rumor. In my opinion, Howard isn't juicing. I've seen him in post-game interviews with his shirt off. He looks big but isn't outright jacked like known juicers of the past (McGwire, Sosa, Bonds, Giambi...). He's just a big brotha...similar to Papi...just a big brotha who can hit the long ball.

true. but most pitchers on juice were using it to increase recovery time from soreness. i power hitter uses juice to bulk up so he can crush the long ball.

RyHow isn't juicing. Though i'm sure you're hoping he is just to make your buddy Barry seem like less of a fraud.
