He is +150 to beat Vijay by a least one stroke in round 4 at WSEX.

Thought it was error at first but

you think that is a good bet? Vijay is no slouch and a 3 shot lead is huge. This is a sucker bet if I ever saw one.

Vijay is +220 in the head to head at Oly (straight H2H.....not exactly the same as the +/- .5 stroke that Wsex has).

It does look good. Toger is around +175 to win it all which requires him to beat everyone else PLUS beat Vijay by 3+ strokes. With this he can lose the tourney by 1 or 2 strokes to Vijay and still cash. All for just 30 cents less now.

I'm on it.

Looks like WSEX refunded the bet.
I specifically called them when I saw the bet this morning and was told by wagering attendent after she consulted with supervisor that bet was good.

Just got off phone with them and was told
'Diane the supervisor remembers that you called this morning but word came from higher up to cancel the wagers"

I mean if I see a line that might be off and I call them to let them know, and then am reassured that its okay, What else can I do?

I know WSEX is a good company but this is not right.

You handled it perfectly sir, exactly what you should have done. That does not mean that the bet should be good though as it is clearly a bad line. The fact you were mistakingly told that it was a good line sucks, but that doesn't mean it was a good line.

What really sucks is that now It is too late to make a bet on Tiger over Singh.

I didnt play the other side, but if I did then I would be stuck with a bet on Vijay.

Nothing more you could have done. What was the point of you calling and asking if it meant nothing? Their word means nothing I guess. That's not good.

I only relied on your saying that they OK'd it so my claim is not as good as yours. But if you spoke to a WSEX rep and they told you the line was good to play, then it should stand IMO.

Huh? Then what is the point of calling and being told it is a good line? If it can still be cancelled after being told it's good then it is pointless to call and ask as it means nothing.

I just talked to Diane and she told me that you were told your bet was good. I instructed her to put your bet back in. You do have action on Tiger Woods.

I am sorry for all the confusion. The line was definately put up in error.
The correct line should have been Tiger Woods -.5 -186.
