what site(s) do you use to cap baseball?

and what are the most important factors to consider when capping a game?...

I'm just getting into capping baseball....I like to bet a team that is on a winning streak v a team that is on a losing streak...thats simple enough...

obviously pitcher v batter...and team pens are important...
what else do you look at? and where do you find this info?

Pig as far as the line service goes there are 2 i use,don best premium is about 600 a month and vegas insider about 179 a month.what i want is vegas casinos action versa offshore,a lot of offshore outs tend to move the line imo at a drop of a hat.but for someone starting out i would go with vegas insider as you can add the books you want,good service at a good price imo........gltu.ck

isn't there something for 19.99?? or something. Why would someone pay so much? is this source used to bet against line movement or to find the best line? I'm confused about why one needs these services and how I'd use them to get an advantage...

Sorry dont think you will find anything out there at that price.but let me start out by saying that what might work for me might not work for you.it took me years with trial and errors on a lot of systems i use .what kill me is people come in to forums and say damn 75% of people on this side etc,this is what i dont get .but i like to see the most up to date data when i put my money out.this is why i dont understand how people can put out plays without knowning the weather..winds linecard etc.but again what work for one person might not work for the other.i tell it like this ,it like your car,you put options on it to help you,why i might not need your options but you do etc.but really it take time and i guess over time you get a feel to the line somewhat.but i tried to learn new things each day as the games change over time,what might work for me 3 yrs ago,might not work today.but like i said to someone starting out get a good line service and go from there,if you are serious about the betting thing we try to do.

pig, u don't need to purchase a service. i have never paid for it and im doing good enough. here are teh sites i recommend with quick comments

www.pinnaclesports.com //biggest site probably, supposedly sharp players play here, good props, small juice, must have
www.mansion.com // sports exchange. best there is imo, only 0.5% fee to the seller. not the easiest site to use
www.matchbook.com //very easy to use but 2% fee to teh winner, still significantly better than sportsbooks
www.tradesports.com // another sports exchange, good for betting live, can hedge bets
www.vipsports.com // they are slow to adjust their lines, among the slowest i've ever seen. can find some arbs but more importantly can get odds u can't elsewhere near post
www.bodog.com // square book, they got square props. sometimes can find offline.

another thing. don't listen to touts. never pay for touts. touts are people who can never make enough on their own......

why anybody would pay for a line service, when there are tons of sites that provide free realtime lines for nothing is beyond me. Total waste of money, especially since chasing line moves in this day and age, doesnt work like the old days.
