My plan was to take Miami +5 at another shop for $500 and take the profit. But Big Ben screwed up my plan this weekend. Line is now PK at most places. Is there any way to try and hedge this out at another shop? Can you guys help me out with how to best accomplish this, I'm not too experienced with this kind of stuff. I know there is the in game wagers at WSEX or even half time betting but depending on how the game goes it may not work.
Thanks in Advance:toast:

Bet365 let you buy down to 5, but at hugely bad odds

obviously the line has moved against you which eliminates the simple $550 Miami +5 elsewhere.

Perhaps the best way is to buy Miami upto +5 for $700 or so which would lock in $200 or so.

Remember there's a ditch beyond every hedge.

Same boat, I can't buy all those points. I'm riding it, or hedge in-game, if at all, can't lose anything that way. No way to get $500 or so with the line move.

Yup, I am planning in putting in $500 to Wsex tomorrow and HOPEFULLY pitt scores in early TD and I can hedge in game. Seems like my only chance.

You could do a MOV prop at SIA ( not up yet) but it's similar to a point buy, about all I can think of.

WSEX interactives or BET365 does in play betting as well. Those were the first 2 that came to mind. I think Pinny does NFL live betting too but never tried that. Only concern with doing that is the 5 point line involved.

Def don't want a polish middle here

Didn't I see a post on another thread where someone posted to do a 2 team teaser Ie Miami +6 and NE -2 then take Buff ML, or something like that? I'm too lazy to look it up. Is this possible?

The Free $500 is now more like a free $200, if you want to hedge and lock in what you can. You can screw around with point buys, teasers, MOV, etc., it will all comes out about the same.

To get the points back you need Pitts to take a lead, is what it boils down to.

I will probably just ride it out and pray for a Pitt cover and try to middle at WSEX if possible

Why Hedge its a Bonus Bet???

If you hedge, you can clear $490 in actual dollars. If you don't hedge, you basically risk that $490 to win another $510. So unless you were planning to bet $500 on the Steelers anyway, you might as well just take the $490 and do something else with it.

Is there any reason you waited to hedge? Is it just that you figured the line would go up?

Right now your money is not at risk, you might simply end up with no gain.

In game betting can be risky. If Pittsburg goes ahead you might get Miami pickem at say 40 (+150) on WSEX. So you buy 7 contracts for $280 to win $420 if Miami wins and hope for either a $420 win or a $580 win. But if Pittsburg wins the game by 3 you end up with a polish middle and lose both bets. The Pit-5 is refunded but your loss is $420.

I'm in the same position as I liked the Pit-5 bet going for the $1000 win until this weekend.

The only hedge I would consider is a half time true hedge that gives me a non-losing position. I suggest you seriously consider this as the safest non-losing position.

Bet more on Pittsburgh. Rothberger was USELESS in the Superbowl and they still won

I think that it was stupid to hedge the bet EVEN BEFORE the injury. It is a Bonus Bet, absolutely NO REASON to hedge the bet. I have Pitt -5 as well, but will just hope for a blowout which could easily happen
