MIAMI (AP) -- Gary Payton finally got one championship, yet still wants to chase another.
The veteran guard signed a one-year deal Wednesday to return to the Miami Heat, meaning the defending NBA champions have every player from last season's regular postseason rotation under contract for the coming year.

I wonder what his 1990 Rookie Fleer card is now worth, a buck? On a more serious note, nice that the glove will be back for another go around.

I agree....I am a little surprised and also disappointed that the Heat are bringing back the same exact team as last season. I think that they need to get a little younger and a little quicker at that position. The Heat still have a large part of their exemption to use, so hopefully at some point, they will add someone else.

Would just hate to see the same exact team back. Especially with Jason Williams coming off of an injury and GP getting a year older. They need to add someone else.
