EasyBets.com suddenly locked my account out

I have MLB futures over there. I haven't placed a bet with them in several months. I didn't know BOS bought them last spring.

I could still log in to my account earlier this week and see my pending bets.

Now, they suddenly closed my account - I can't even log in.

They need to repay my pending bets at the very least. Unfortunately, I have several big winning MLB bets pending over there.

Anybody else here have their account closed by EasyBets.com?

EasyBets.com is still operational and that division of BOS is liquid. So they should absolutely refund my pending balance to Neteller at the very least. Otherwise, this is even worse than the BOS situation, given that BOS shut its website down.

BOS has kept EasyBets.com operating, so they cannot just get away with stealing US players' money without serious criminal consequences in the UK.

Some others here have pending bets with EasyBets - Woody, did they close your account as well?

Right, but they are still operational over at EasyBets.com. They just closed my account this week.

If they are still in business, then it is theft, plain and simple. They are still taking wagers, and they are still liquid.

speedy - they haven't responded to my emails on the issue.

Although EasyBets is owned by BOS, they are still operating, so they need to refund our deposits at the very least.

Keep me posted if you find out anything, and I'll do the same.

I have no pending bets there and reduced my balance to a token amount but my account is still active.

I am registered there as a Canadian resident.

Just as i suspected. They are still operating and taking bets, but locked out and haven't repaid US players.

That is serious fraud. At least the other BOS sportsbooks can claim that they are out of business and have to wait to pay players.

In the case of EasyBets.com, it is grand larceny.

SBR Bill Dozer reports: BetOnSports PLC-owned EasyBets (SBR rating D-) cheats players out of winning MLB future wagers. The sportsbook has alerted it’s US-based clients that their accounts will be closed and all pending wagers will be voided.

Player: "I just received this e-mail from easybets. It’s a real shocker, and doesn’t seem legal or ethical. I need your advice and help. How can they cancel pending bets (such as several baseball season future that are about to pay off, for example)? Are these not contracts they have entered into and must honor? If they decide to cease dealing with people in the US, why can’t they stop accepting new bets, but still pay ones they have accepted upon settlement?"

no reply yet from easybets 12th round. but, if bos pays i guess easybets pays. personally i'd be so happy to get my money back i wouldn't care about pending bets no matter how good they looked.

speedy - check out the EasyBets thread at Sportsbookreview.

One guy (he might be a UK customer) said that they told him UK customers would have their futures bets honored if they wanted to and that they would be paid in a few days for their balance.

I've emailed them 4x without a response. Wish I had known BOS bought EasyBets last Spring. I would have stayed a country mile away.

It's only brand that remains open and has been taking bets since BetonSports was indicted two months ago, EasyBets, has begun confiscating US player funds and making all future bets void.

It is becoming clearer by the day that BetonSports Board of Directors led by one Clive Archer has little intention of paying customers, despite what they continue to tell people over the phone.

Roberto Castiglioni of TheOnlineWire.com was scheduled to meet with two respected UK attorneys this coming week to discuss legal actions against BetonSports and its Board of Directors, as well as high ranking employees who may be liable. One customer is already prepared to take legal action.

Sources close to Gambling911.com have also suggested that board members may have invested customer funds into an Asian real estate deal, hence the reason none of the money appears to be available.

Attempts to login to Easybets from my part of the world have reached a "site is undergoing scheduled maintenance" for the last two days.

Seems to be a rather lengthy "maintenance" and may indicate they are shutting up shop.

Can anyone get in from elsewhere?

I have a SAN DIEGO PADRES to win division for $250, on a 10 to 1 longshot. I tried logging to easybets but I get this message:
