Does anyone know which kind of visa debit card would be accepted by neteller. I just got a visa electron debit card but it will not work with them. I see a bunch at the supermarket but don't wanna buy another one w/o it working.

I was going to use my visa debit card until I saw the 3.9% charge on deposits. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. Not even the biggest charlatan of a bookmaker makes charges on debit card deposits.

They accept Commerce Bank Visa Gift Cards, among many others.

No just walk into a Commerce Bank and ask for a prepaid Visa gift card. They cost like $3.95 and you can load them for up to $500, depending on the bank. It is a one use card; dump it all into Neteller and throw it away.

Not the most cost effective way of depositing, but it will work.

Out of curiousity...

What do you mean "one use card"? That it cannot be reloaded, or that you must spend the entire balance in one single transaction??

Can you use such a card online? What do you enter for billing name/address/etc?

That sucks, I bought one not too long ago at Commerce, no problem, but the fee was like a buck higher than for account holders.

The first one; you can spend the balance in however many transactions you want. The card cannot be reloaded.

I used the card at Neteller, and if I remember correctly they didn't ask for a billing address. If they did I just put in my address.

You can go into any check cashing place and buy a Visa debit card by netspend, or their disposable card by all access called a gift card. Netspends card is reloaadable and is accept by all books offshore as well as poker or gambling sites. You do NOT have to use either of them in one spot. You CAN use them for NETeller deposits, and I feel it's worth the 3.9% because you can then withdraw using NETeller without going through the hassle of sending in ID's and explaining what a debit card is all about. When you make your deposit with the reloadable card, they charge you another $1 to make the deposit wherever it's made. So if you use NETeller and are going to send money to more than one place, you can figure you are saving that dollar by using NETeller. You can put that savings towards your 3.9%. So what I do when reloading my card is add extra money for the expected charges. So say I'm depositing $500, I'll reload for $503 to allow for the 3.9% NETeller and the $1 charge from the Netspend card.

does this card work at Pinnacle?

Probably not. Just open a Neteller account and dump the card in there, then use your Neteller ID at Pinny...
