My gambling experience is telling me it's time to bet against it passing!

I hope I'm right.

Congress meets for 20 days I think.

How many more days do we have left?

Nothing's gonna happen IMO. Not a lot of time, so much time to waste. Senate has a lot on their plate, just don't see them getting to this.

After the important things (Hopefully gambling not one of them)

I would like to see them tackle this one right here

The Senate and/or House might consider:

• Legislation prohibiting the slaughter of horses for human consumption.

Unfortunately, those SOBs already pushed back the adjournment date a week. I remember from 2002, the last serious year this was a threat, they pushed back the adjournment date several times.

That year, only Abramhoff saved our ass.

Believe me, they have plenty of time to pass this if they want to, because they will not adjourn as early as Oct. 9. THey will keep pushing it back. I know they have to have some time to spread the bullshit in their home states before the elections, but if history is any indication, they'll go well into October.

Judging your Avatar, what if they do this:

• Legislation prohibiting photographing beautiful women for horny gambler consumption. :missingte:missingte:missingte
