All teasers would cover at this point!

I can remember back when I was a bookie we allowed people to tease both sides on the same bet. Well that 4 way teaser would be a winner tonight. By the way, we stopped that type of bet after 2 seasons of regularly losing those bets to some small bet guys. Luckily, the guys who bet big never thought about doing that.

By the way, is there any book that still allows 2 sided teasers??

Im not shedding a tear for one book this season. They get enough of my money and I imagine they get enough of yours as well. Books will survive. This is only one of many more games to come.

Teasing both sides or both the over and under are terrible bets. Books that don't allow these are foolish.

You get a 12 point middle and if the over/under is .5 point is it nice.

I know Heritage and Wager Web allow you to tease both sides of a game. I imagine there are other books that allow this also.

It looks as though it wont end at this total anyway.

But Sean, all I can tell you is that for 2 seasons, the guys that we allowed to bet those were winners almost every week

It is a sucker bet. Grab some historical data and see how you do. You wont find a single subset where teasing both sides of the same game is beneficial to you over the long term. Most books allow these. They love them.

All I can tell you is that last year Faves covered 57%. That is meaningless. If you run the data over 1000s of games teasing both sides is very -EV.

Favs can cover, and all teasers can still win

And most people only tease the pointspread and not the total.

Players, yes, I understand what a teaser is.

I'm not gonna debate it with you. If you think teasing both sides of the same game is a good idea, go right ahead and do it. The more often you and others do this, the longer +100 teasers will remain available.

Theres a $4 or 5 million dollar kick for mansion BTW

I hedged with Mia+7 in a 2 team teaser at Pinny. A Pitt win by 7 is ok with me. Not a stupid bet IMO

I did not say anything about teasing Miami to 7 or 7.5 as bad.

Teasing Miami to 7 in the same teaser as Pitt to 5 is a bad play.

Teasing any total is a bad play.

Players - see you came on here and told people what happened over a very short period of time. Now they'll go out and play these and lose a bundle.

I am telling them not to play these based on both the math behind them and 1000s of games.

They wouldnt lose a bundle at all in my opinion. Pay attention this weekend to how many games come within 12 point of the spread. It is quite a few.
