Be VERY careful on the streets of N.O.!

If you have a Harrah's reward card, call ahead at the reward's desk-- they will get you a great rate at the "W" hotel, just across the street. If you don't have a card get one and they then fix you up! It's as nice a hotel as you will find down there.

Good luck!

Prepare to see some of the most clueless players you've ever seen in your life. If you play blackjack, I'd suggest getting your own table & doing your best to keep it all yours. It's seriously that bad.

There's a post in here about Harrah's in New Orleans somewhere.

Good luck with those poker players.

Make sure you don't play BJ at a "continuous shuffle" table.

Titty bars are good ......go to a dark corner or VIP. Just be careful and be aware of your surroundings when walking around. Harrah's also uses the Doubletree ....across the street about 50 feet ......good rates. Eat at different places .....food, of course, is awesome.

Muthers, Court of Two Sisters, Deanie's Seafood, etc .....just look the restaurants up.

Even on some random night......some girls will be showing their chee-chee's ......enjoy. :103631605

No good video poker or slots there when I was through there two years ago.

TT- If the BJ is that bad, how is the hold'em?............guessing pretty good since McIrish is living in Mississippi now and probably making a good little living at poker.

I don't know if they had NLHE at the time-it was about 3 years ago. My drunk ass had to storm off & go drink some more on Bourbon street after watching these f'ing idiots hit 13-16's vs. a dealers 4-6. I've never seen such retardation. Oh yeah, don't get me started on how many times I heard "How many is that?".

great, i get enough of that at foxwoods and mohegan

last time at foxwoods i was playing straight up against dealer and kicking the shit out of her, two slobs roll up next to me and jump into the shoe as im tipping the waitress then one proceeds to hit 17 while the other hits 14 against a six upcard
i dont have a giant problem if you dont know how to play but i just cant ever imagine jumping into a shoe without asking the others at the table

LOVE Harrah's down there. Have made some HUGE coin betting the Don'ts on the craps tables. When the tables are cold, they are FRIGID! Be sure to eat at the Besh Steakhouse in there. Best steak i've ever eaten out anywhere. Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse (In the Quarter) is good too! GL!

I was there before the no-limit/poker explosion. The only game seemed to be Holdem/Omaha-High changed each round, I believe. Players didn't seem tough, considering I rarely ever play Omaha High.
